Ed, Edd n Eddy is a cartoon series that is about 3 boys who have nearly the same name, and have one common goal around the cul-de-sac; getting enough money from the other kids in the cul-de-sac to buy jawbreakers. With everyday in summer, they think up of scams to trick everyone into giving them money, but they usually end up backfiring. Included in their lives are the Kanker Sisters, who live at the "Park-N-Flush Trailer Park." They continually pursue an unrequited love for the Eds (they love the Eds, but the Eds do not). Altogether, they live in a suburban cul-de-sac in Peach Creek.

The Eds - The Eds are the main characters of the show.
Ed - Ed is usually the one who ruins the Eds' scams, and is always accidental. He is a bit obsessed with anything that's sci-fi, and relates it to his own world. He sometimes always has something to say, like his "Ed-isms," which once made him the most popular kid in the cul-de-sac. Ed has a little sister named Sarah, who usually tells him what to do around the house (usually it's a no big deal thing), and he sometimes says that it's not his fault.
Edd - Edd is mostly referred to as "Double D" because of how he has 3 "D"s in his name, and to help reduce confusion between him and Ed. Double D is the brains behind the scams. He "calculates" and builds what is needed to be done, and looks like it can actually work, but soon it eventually doesn't. He also has an extremely vast vocabulary and high intelligence (even for his age). One of Double D's biggest (and reputated) mysteries, is what he has under his hat, but only he, Ed and Eddy know what's under it.
Eddy - Eddy is the shortest of the Eds, but has the biggest ego. He always denies that he's short, and he gets a bit irratated if they did say he is. He claims that he's the one who comes up with all the scams they come up with, when he comes up with just most (not all) of the scams. Eddy has a big love for money and jawbreakers, and he'll do almost anything (even try to become Kevin's friend) for them. Eddy also has a crush on Nazz. Eddy is also the boss of the Eds; self-appointed of course.
The Gang In The Cul-de-sac - They are everyone else in the cul-de-sac.
Jimmy - Jimmy is Sarah's best friend. He always relies on her for protection, usually from the Eds. He sometimes can recall famous people whenever someone in the cul-de-sac acts like them. He also wears a retainer
in every episode (except for a bit in "Once Upon An Ed").
Jonny 2x4 and Plank - Jonny has his last name as "2x4" because of his best buddy, Plank. Jonny and Plank are always together, but broke up temporarily in "Dear Ed." They do everything together, even joining in the Urban Rangers. Jonny is usually Plank's spokesman, usually saying "Plank says . . . " because Plank is a piece of wood. Rumor has it that Plank is no ordinary piece of wood because Jonny claims "He sees things." (from "Vert-Ed-Go"), and was a bit true in "Rent-A-Ed."
Kevin - Kevin would probably be the last person to ever be the Eds' friends in the cul-de-sac. He commonly refers the Eds to as either "Dork, Dork(k) n Dorky" or simply as "Dorks." He spends most of his time riding his bike around the cul-de-sac. Like Eddy, Kevin too has a crush on Nazz.
Nazz - Nazz is the most popular girl in the cul-de-sac, but was one of the characters to have the least dialogue in Season 1. Eddy and Kevin have a big crush on her, along with Ed and Double D (theirs isn't all that much; just a bit of shyness). She hangs out sometimes with Kevin, but she kind of likes Eddy.
Rolf - Rolf is the only kid in the cul-de-sac who owns a small farm, and has the most pets. Rolf comes from a different country, and he tells stories about his family (mostly about his "Nano" and "Nana") whenever he has a chance. He mixes in his culture in with the life of the cul-de-sac, but he still misses his "old country."
Sarah - Sarah is Ed's little sister, and she is mostly bossy and strict to him. She has a reputation in the cul-de-sac for having a loud mouth; always yelling at someone, especially the Eds, mostly at Eddy. She shows a true love-hate relation with Double D; sometimes she loves him, and other times she can't stand him being in sight. She acts like Jimmy's bodyguard, and is his best friend.
The Kankers - They're the ones who love the Eds, but the Eds don't, and they live in a trailer park.
Lee Kanker - Lee is sort of the boss of her sisters. She loves Eddy, and sometimes says things to him to like her.
Marie Kanker - Marie loves Double D of the Eds. She would sometimes come up with ideas on what the Kankers could do when they actually catch the Eds.
May Kanker - May is believed to be a perfect match for Ed, and she really does love him. Sometimes, Ed won't mind, but he runs away when he realizes that he's supposed to run from her. May would just run after him if he does run, along with her sisters with the other Eds.

Ed, Edd n Eddy is my most favorite show on Cartoon Network, and it has a big chance of being the best cartoon show that I've ever watched! It has a lot of comedy in every epsiode, and even re-runs never seem to lose their quality. I would like to congradulate and thank Danny Antonucci and everyone at a.k.a. CARTOON for making such a funny and top-quality cartoon.
