Cinderella

Disney's Cinderella is a beautiful masterpiece that tells the story a young girl who is left with her dead father's second wife and her two evil stepsisters. As she grows up, she is forced to become a servant in her own home, waiting hand and foot on her stepmother Lady Tremaine, Drizella and Anastasia. Yet, despite the misery of her situation, Cinderella remains cheerful and wishful, hoping for the day all her dreams will come true. With the help of her friends and her fairy godmother, Cinderella's dreams become a reality.
The film features breath-taking hand animation, loveable (and not-so-loveable) characters, beautiful backgrounds and catchy (but romantic) songs. Though the character of Cinderella has been popularized more during the last few years with young girls who love the "Disney Princesses", the movie itself is a gorgeous piece of Disney artwork and was one of the first full-feature animated films after World War II ended, making it a true classic in the line up of Disney animated features.

Characters:
Cinderella (Voice: Ilene Woods)
Cinderella is a young girl ophraned and left with her evil stepmother and stepsisters, who treat her as a servant and order her about. However, she keeps hoping that some day her dreams will come true, and never loses sight of her heart's wishes.
Lady Tremaine (Voice: Eleanor Audley)
Lady Tremaine married Cinderella's father before he died, but she loathes Cinderella and adores her own two foolish daughters. She'll do anything it takes to keep Cinderella from being happy or having any of her dreams to come true.
Anastasia (Voice: Lucille Bliss)
Anastasia is one of Cinderella's two stepsisters. She's untalented, ugly and tries to act feminine and sweet but fails miserably. She'll do anything to make Cinderella's life worse than it is, usually by ordering Cinderella to do stuff for her.
Drizella (Voice: Rhoda Williams)
Drizella is Cinderella's other stepsister. Like her sister, she's untalented, ugly and a bit more assertive and snappish. She'll do anything to make Cinderella's life worse than it is, the same as her sister.
The Fairy Godmother (Voice: Verna Felton)
Cinderella's Fairy Godmother is a homely old lady with a good bit of magic up her sleeve. She appears when Cinderella thinks all hope is lost for her dreams to come true, and gives the young girl a beautiful dress, a gorgeous carriage, and a pair of delicate glass slippers to go to the ball and meet the Prince. Her only stipulation is this: Cinderella must be home before midnight, for that is when the spell breaks.
Prince Charming (Voice: William Phipps)
Prince Charming has been away for quite some time and is returning home to his father, who throws a ball in honor of his return (and in hopes of marrying his son off to get some grandkids). Prince Charming is bored by all the young ladies of his kingdom - until he meets Cinderella.
The King (Voice: Luis Van Rooten)
The King is a pompous old man who is eager for his only son to return home...so he can throw a ball, marry his son off, and get some grandkids.
The Duke (Voice: Luis Van Rooten)
The Duke is the King's right-hand-man, who often tries to be the voice of reason and endures the King's short-fused temper and wrath as a result. When the mysterious glass slipper is left behind at the ball by the unknown Princess, the Duke is ordered to take it throughout the kingdom and try it on every girl until it fits one, and then he must bring the girl back to the castle to be the Prince's bride.
Bruno (Voice: James MacDonald)
Bruno is Cinderella's elderly, loyal dog whom she's had since she was a little girl. Bruno is usually gentle, unless Lucifer is around.
Lucifer (Voice: June Foray)
This mean, sneaky, cruel cat belongs to Lady Tremaine and enjoys making Cinderella's life as miserable as possible. When he's not acting selfish and arrogant, he's attempting to catch Cinderella's mouse friends or antagonize Bruno.
Jaq (Voice: James MacDonald)
Jaq is one of Cinderella's mouse friends. He seems to be the leader of the group of mice and loves Cinderella dearly.
Gus (Voice: James MacDonald)
Gus is a mouse Cinderella finds in a trap at the start of the movie. He's taken in by Jaq and quickly learns to love Cinderella like the other mice do.
