#1 Vampire Hunter D (Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust)-To be honest, I haven't
even seen the new movie yet, but I will.In fact, I heard that it comes out
on video and DVD on Feb.12, 2002 and you can bet that I?ll get it on the first
day.Personally, I think the new D looks much better.
The Other Guys(In no particular order)
Brooklyn (Gargoyles)- Of all the characters on this list, Brooklyn
has been one of my favorites for the longest time.He's strong, intelligent,
and he has a great voice.What more could a girl want?And I must admit, I've
always had an interest in dinosaurs, so his pteradon features became a plus.
Vash
the Stampede(Trigun)-Usually, I prefer guys who are a little goth,
but I decided to make an exception.To be honest, I don't know what it is with
this guy.Is it his voice, his good looks, or his philosophy of Love and Peace?The
truth is, I like him because he's funny.
Vincent Valentine(Final Fantasy VII)-This guy
caught my eye the first time I saw him in the FFVII instruction booklet.His
Poe-like manner had me in awe.He's the reason FFVII is still my favorite video
game.Needless to say, he's always on my team.
Duke
L'Orange(Mighty Ducks)-It's definitely the voice.As soon as he spoke,
I had a crush on him.He's a lot like Brooklyn with his actions as well as
his voice.He used to be a thief, but at least he's making up for it.
Clopin(The Hunchback of Notre Dame)-Like many
girls, I have fallen for the Gypsy King.Once again it is the voice that woos
me.He kept me at the edge of my seat with his unpredictability.One moment
he's singing to kids, and the next he's trying to hang Quasi and Phoebus.Just
when you think you know a guy...
Puck(Gargoyles)-The
man who inspired me to read Shakespeare.He's more upredictable than Clopin
and he has one heck of a sense of humor.Plus he's another one with a great
voice!
Mephisto(Demon
City Shinjuku)-Okay, I admit that the only reason I liked this guy is because
he looked like Vincent.But after watching the rest of the anime, I became
more attached to him for him and not for his looks.
Grim(Grim
and Evil)-I never thought that I would fall for someone with a Jamaican accent.With
all the things he has to put up with, I just had to pity the guy.
Trowa
Barton(Gundam Wing)-I didn't even see all the Wing episodes but I still
fell for him.Being the silent one, I can definitely relate.And he can play
the flute, my favorite instrument to listen to.Me?The closest I ever got to
playing the flute was when I played the recorder in elementary school.
Zechs
Merquise/Milliardo Peacecraft(Gundam Wing)-What can I say?He was just
far to handsome to leave out.Do I need to say that he has a wonderful voice?
Sir
Fratley(Final Fantasy IX)-Freya's lost love who left Burmecia, I fell
for him before I even saw him.I haven't gotten far in the game, so for me
he's shrouded in mystery.
Eduardo(Extreme Ghostbusters)-It's definately
the accent.He gets picked on a lot, and I can relate to that.I feel like i
have a connection with this guy.He's one of the few people who looks good
with a goatee.
Spark(Record
of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight)-If I?m not admiring a gloomy
gothic character, I?m usually adoring a fantasy character.Although he was
first shown as a kid, he didn?t catch my interest until I saw him as a handsome
adult.
Maar(Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the
Heroic Knight)-The elfin bard of odoss.He's a bit of a coward, but he's still
lovable, not to mention cute with his child-like appearance.He reminds me
of Puck for some reason?
Zorak(Cartoon Planet/Space Ghost Coast to Coast/The
Brak Show)-Some people like Brak, but I prefer watching the three shows for
Zorak, Lone Mantis of the Apocalypse.I love how he makes fun of Space Ghost
with his insults.
ZIM(Invader ZIM)-I stopped watching Nicktoons
years ago, but after I started watching this one I got hooked.This cute little
green alien has an unusual, yet delightful, voice.
Dib (Invader ZIM)-Poor kid.He knows that ZIM
is an alien bent on conquering Earth, yet no one believes him.You'd think
he?d have at least one friend.Then again, I believe in aliens and I don't
have many friends myself?
The "If I Was
a Guy" Harem
Demona(Gargoyles)-It's
all about that attitude.She's over 1,000 years old and she still looks good.
Elisa
Maza(Gargoyles)-A beauty who falls off buidings and waterfalls.I have
to admit, she has an interesting way of meeting men.
Lucretia
DeCoy(Mighty Ducks)-With her looks, who wouldn't want to go out with
her?I know she's a bad guy, but she knows how to get what she wants.
Freya
Crescent(Final Fantasy IX)-She has been searching for her love for
several years nonstop.Now that's true love.
Catherine Bloom(Gundam Wing)-Where do you think
i got the last name from?She can throw knives better than anyone that I know...even
if she did nearly take off Trowa's ear.
Deedlit(Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of
the Heroic Knight)-She's a beautiful high elf. It's hard to believe that she's
over 100 years old.
Lenore(Roman Dirge's Lenore)-She's a "cute
little dead girl."Okay, so maybe I wouldn't say cute, but what can I
say?She looks like something Tim Burton would come up with.(Here's an interesting
tidbit: Lenore's creator, Roman Dirge, is a friend of Jhonen Vasquez; the
creator of Invader ZIM.Plus Dirge was part of the writing staff.)
