"So Oliva" I questioned(Dawson)"How have you been?"

"Oh,just wonderful Mr.Dawson!" she replied eagerly,Basil couldn't help but smile.

"So Miss Oliva,are you up for a ride through the park?" Basil questioned

"That would be wonderful !" she exclaimed

"Alright then,onward Toby!" he exclaimed

While walking through the park,they happen to come upon a newly built house

"I say,Dawson,a new house has been built.Finished an hour or two ago,made with spruce,and..."he sniffed the air"a coat of paint finished and hour ago" Basil finished

Toby made a B line for the house,picking up his pace from walking to a brisk trott

"Toby where are you going?" Basil scolded

He then picked up his gate to a gallop,it was all they could do to hold on.There was a white picket fence with the gate wide open.Toby stopped at the gate all three mice let out a sigh of relief.

Toby,just what do you think you are doing?" Basil said,giving the leash a jerk"Come on boy" he gave it another jerk,but Toby didn't budge.

They all looked to see what had the canine so firmly planted.There,in the yard,sat a female dog.She had a wolf-like appearence but was beautiful none the less.She had a finely groomed coat,which was a brownish-blonde color.Her face,chest,underside,and the tip of her tail were a peachy color.Her ears sat erect atop her head.Basil was getting quite annoyed.

"Yes,yes,she is nice.Now lets go!!!" he gave the leash another tug,but Toby just plopped down and panted heavily.Oliva giggled.

"I think Toby likes her" she said smiling

"Toby,old chap" Basil said leaning close to the hound's ear"I think she might already have a boyfriend"

I couldn't help but chuckle

"I do say Basil,he likes her,a lot" I said still chuckling
