Chapter 1: Halloween is Here
October 31. That is Halloween. Everywhere, kids were going trick-or-treating,
while adults were going to costume parties (or taking their kids trick-or-treating,
whatever). And a certain family wasn't doing anything different.
Shawn, Kari, and their daughters were getting ready to go trick-or-treating.
Allie, Yuriko, and Nanami were waiting for their parents to get ready. Allie
was a witch, Yuriko was a flower, and Nanami was a ballerina. "Don't I look
wicked?" asked Allie. "Yes you do!" said Yuriko. "You're
a pretty flower." said Nanami. "And you're adorable!" said Allie & Yuriko. "Let's
go, go, go!" said Gatomon, dressed as a cheerleader. "Not yet, we're
waiting for Mom & Dad." said Nanami.
Kari came out, dressed as Cinderella. "Wow!" The girls exclaimed. "Kari,
you look beautiful!" said Gatomon. "Thanks!" said Kari. "Shawn,
come out here!" she said. "I don't want to!" yelled Shawn. "I'll
go get him." said Kari.
Kari came out dragging Shawn, dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard Of Oz. The girls
looked surprised, while Gatomon couldn't help but laugh. "Do we really have
to go through with this?" said Shawn. "Hey, this is all we could afford." said
Kari.
"Now are we ready?" asked Allie. "Yes we are." said Kari. "Yeah,
whatever." said Shawn. The girls all cheered, as they were ready to go.
End of Chapter 1
Chapter 2: The Start
And so, Shawn, Kari, and their daughters (as well as Gatomon) were all getting
ready to go.
Nanami had mixed feelings, happy to be going, but feeling a little nervous.
She asked Kari, "Mommy, are you sure nothing bad's going to happen?" "Of
course not! It's trick-or-treating, it's supposed to be fun." said Kari. "Don't
worry, Nanami." said Allie. "Everything's going to be OK." said
Yuriko. "Besides, you've got us to look after you girls." said Shawn.
Gatomon was still giggling at him.
The girls got their baskets, they all made some final checks if they were ready,
and they were. "I can't wait to go!" said Yuriko. "This is gonna
be fun!" said Allie. "As long as nothing scary happens." said
Nanami. "Let's get going!" said Gatomon. "Well, it seems we're
all set." said Shawn. "Are you girls ready for trick-or-treating?" asked
Kari. "Yeah!" Gatomon and the girls cheered, so they all went out
to have some fun.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the area, a certain someone was watching them. "They'll
have fun.. until I come around..." he said.
End of Chapter 2
Chapter 3: The Trip So Far
Now that they were ready to go, Shawn, Kari, Gatomon, Allie, Yuriko, and Nanami
were all ready to go trick-or-treating.
Shawn and Kari felt happy to hear their daughters saying "Trick or treat!" and
watching them get candy. "Aren't they sweet?" said Shawn. "They're
so cute like that." said Kari. The girls showed them the candy they got
from the first house. "Wow, that's good for you!" said Shawn. "We
love it!" said Gatomon. "Let's go!" said Kari.
So they went to the next few houses. One gave out apples ("This is weird." Yuriko
commented), another gave out crystal candy ("Awesome!" Allie commented),
and one ran out of candy, so they gave out cookies ("Very sweet." Nanami
commented).
They were all quite content as they went on their merry way trick-or-treating.
Little did they know that they were being watched...

Chapter 4: A Nasty Surprise
The night went on, and Shawn, Kari, Gatomon, Allie, Yuriko, and Nanami were
having a fun time.
They went to a scary looking house. "I'm scared!" said Nanami. "Oh,
don't worry." said Shawn. "You've got us." said Kari. "Hey,
let's go!" said Allie & Yuriko. "OK." said Nanami, nervous. "I'll
accompany you." said Gatomon. They went up, rung the doorbell, and said "Trick-or-treat!".
And an old woman came out. "Oh, don't you girls look adorable?" she
said, as she gave them candy. The girls were relieved.
"Wow, this is so much fun!" said Allie, looking at all her candy. "I'm
glad to know you girls are having fun." said Shawn. "I can't wait to
eat all this candy!" said Yuriko. "Me too!" said Gatomon. "All
this, and nothing scary happened!" said Nanami. "It's a fun night for
us, after all." said Kari. "Oh really?" said a familiar voice.
They looked back. It was Ogremon. "Did you miss me?" he said, sounding
scary.
"Ogremon!" said Kari & Gatomon. Scared, the girls hid behind Shawn & Kari.
End of Chapter 4
Chapter 5: Gatomon Saves the Day
Thanks to Ogremon, Shawn and Kari's happy Halloween nigh with their children
was spoiled.
"You again?" said Kari. "Oh, yes, it's me!" said Ogremon. "You
ruined our nice little evening!" said Shawn. "Mommy, Daddy, we're scared." said
Nanami. "Calm down." said Kari. "Now what are we gonna do?" asked
Allie. "I'll take him down!" said Gatomon. "Go, Gatomon!" said
Yuriko. "Lightning Paw!" yelled Gatomon, but Ogremon punched her away. "What?
It didn't work?" said Gatomon.
"Well, it's Halloween, so I'm more powerful than usual!" said Ogremon. "And
now, you'll be smashed to smithereens!" he yelled, charging at them, hitting
Gatomon. "Oh no!" said Shawn. "Let's go!" said Kari. "Right!" said
Gatomon, and with that, she Digivolved into Angewomon. "All right!" said
the girls.
"Now it's really going!" said Ogremon, unleashing a beam at Angewoman,
knocking her down. "Are you OK?" said Kari. "Yes." said Angewomon.
Ogremon was about to attack, but Angewomon unleashed a Celestial Arrow at him. "How
can this be?!" he said, shocked. "I'm just good at it." said Angewomon. "Go,
Angewomon!" said the girls. "Now, Heel of Justice!" she said,
and kicked him out. Ogremon looked beat. "You may have won, but I'll be
back!" he said, as he took off.
They all cheered, and Angewomon went back to being Gatomon. "Thank you,
Gatomon!" said Shawn. "You saved us!" said Kari. "Yep,
that's what I do best!" said Gatomon. "You're the best!" said
the girls. "Well, what are you guys waiting for? More houses await!" said
Gatomon. "Let's go!" they cheered.
Now that things were calm again, they set off on their merry way.
