Chapter 1: The News
"Girls, come in here"! Mimi said to her children, so Lisa, Cherry,
and Momoko came running into the living room.
"What did we do now?" Cherry said, a little worried. "Did we do
something bad, Mom?" asked a concerned Lisa. "We didn't do anything!" cried
Momoko. Mimi laughed and said "None of you are in trouble. We just have
something to tell you." Shawn said to them, "Girls, we are going to
Honolulu for vacation!"
"Honolulu?" the girls said, confused. "Where's that?" asked
Momoko. "Honolulu is in Hawaii." said Shawn. "Hawaii! Yay!" Cherry
said cheerfully. "Hawaii is great." said Lisa. "We thought you'd
be happy girls." Shawn said as he smiled.
"Hawaii? I wanna go too!" Palmon said as she ran up to them. "Don't
worry, Palmon, you're coming too." Mimi said, hugging Palmon. "Yay!" Palmon
said with tears of joy.
"Hawaii, here we come!" the girls said as they left the room. Shawn
and Mimi laughed as they did.
End of Chapter 1
Chapter 2: They Make It
The next day, Shawn, Mimi, the girls, and Palmon got to the airport and boarded
the plane.
During their flight, they looked out the window at the sights. "Mommy
look, we're so up high!" Momoko said. "Yes, we can see everything
down there, dear." Mimi replied. "Daddy, I can see the ocean from
here!" Lisa said to Shawn. "And look, you can see some land too." Shawn
said. Cherry and Palmon played with each other, until the noticed something. "What's
that?" Cherry asked. "They look like little specks." Palmon
said. "Well, that's Hawaii!" Shawn said. "Hear that, girls?
We're almost there!" Mimi said. The girls cheered.
So, as they got there, they felt relieved. "Wow, it feels good to move
again." Palmon said. "Now we can move!" Cherry said. "My
feet feel better now." said Momoko, relieved. "When does the fun
start?" asked Lisa. "Now." Shawn and Mimi said. And so they
set off to have fun.
But, there was some trouble brewing. Two familiar foes had followed them there. "So,
you'll have fun, eh?" said Arukenimon. "We'll be here to spoil it." LadyDevimon
said, evilly. They both chuckled meanly.
End of Chapter 2
Chapter 3: Fun Time
"What should we do first?" Mimi asked as Shawn they got to the hotel. "I
think we should take the girls scuba diving." Shawn replied. "That
would be fun!" Mimi said in excitement. Then, the girls came in. Cherry
asked, "What are we going to do now?". "We're going scuba diving!" Shawn
told them. So, the girls cheered.
Later, the girls were having fun scuba diving. "I love this!" Lisa
said. "This is so much fun!" Momoko cheered. "Good to know you're
having fun, girls." Shawn said. Soon, Cherry came out of the water and
came to Mimi, looking scared. "What's wrong, dear?" Mimi asked. "Mommy,
I saw a green sea monster down there!" Cherry said, panicking. Mimi looked
in and saw it. "Don't worry, Cherry, it's only Palmon!" Mimi reassured
her. Palmon came out of the water and went to Cherry, saying "Oh, did
I scare you, Cherry?" "It's OK now, Palmon." said Cherry. "You
got scared of little Palmon?" said Momoko. "Don't worry, it's OK." said
Lisa. "Well girls, I'm glad to know you're having fun." Shawn said
to Lisa as he watched them.
So, for the rest of the afternoon, they all had fun with the scuba diving.
End of Chapter 3
Chapter 4: Contest Time
After scuba diving, Shawn, Mimi, Palmon and the girls were walking around,
looking at the different sights. But then, something caught Shawn's eye: a
poster for a surfing contest.
"Hey, this seems fun!" Shawn exclaimed. "Would you like to enter?" Mimi
asked him. "Heck, yes!" Shawn said. Mimi giggled upon hearing him say
that. "Dad's entering a contest?" Cherry asked. "I believe he
is." Lisa said. "I hope he wins." said Momoko.
So, Shawn signed up and everybody was ready. The announcer yelled, "Ladies
and gentlemen, welcome to our surfing contest. Get ready to make some waves!
3...2...1... GO!" And so it began. Mimi, Palmon, and the girls cheered
their loudest for Shawn. Shawn stayed on his board as long as he could, while
others got wiped out as the waves got bigger. Shawn yelled as he surfed the
biggest wave, "Here I go!!!". By the end, Shawn was the only one
active.
"And the winner is... Shawn!" the announcer exclaimed. Mimi, Palmon,
and the girls ran up to Shawn to congratulate him. "Congratulations, Shawn!" Mimi
said and gave Shawn a kiss. "You did it, Dad!" cheered Lisa. "You
were awesome!" Cherry and Momoko said, happily. "Great job." Palmon
said, hugging him.
The next day, they walked around looking at the ocean life, but then something
caught Mimi's attention: a poster for a hula contest.
"Look, Shawn, a couple's hula contest!" Mimi said in cheer. "Should
we enter?" Shawn said. "You shouldn't!" said a mean voice. They
looked back and saw a snooty looking couple. "We're Gary and Morgan and
we win this competition every year." Gary said, as he gave a sneer. "So,
even if you enter, we'll still win!" Morgan said, and she gave a mean laugh.
"That's it, we're entering!" Shawn said in anger. "Watch it, 'cause
you'll eat your words!" Mimi yelled to Gary and Morgan. Once again, time
for another competition..
End of Chapter 4
Chapter 5: Another Contest
So, hoping to get back at the jerks known as Gary and Morgan, Shawn and Mimi
signed up.
The next day was the day of the couple's hula competition, and Shawn and Mimi
were getting ready. "Good luck!" Palmon said to them. Shawn and Mimi
said to her, "Thanks!". Cherry, Momoko, and Lisa were happy for their
parents but hoped they wouldn't embarass them. "Are they gonna be embarassing?" Cherry
asked. "Let's hope not." said Momoko. "C'mon, it's starting!" Lisa
said.
The announcer said, "Everybody, welcome to the Couple's Hula Competition!
Be sure to have a good time. And remember, the couple with the best hula wins!" "Get
ready to lose." Gary jeered. "I'd back out if we were you." Morgan
gloated. "Oh yeah?" Mimi said. "Let's see what you've got!" said
Shawn.
"OK, ready... set.. Go!" the announcer yelled, as the music ("Hawaiian
Roller Coaster Ride" from Lilo & Stitch) started. Gary and Morgan started
doing a hula in a snobbish way. "Ready?" Shawn said. "Ready when
you are!" Mimi said, and they started. Palmon and the girls started cheering.
Partway, Morgan slipped and tripped Gary. "Look what you made me do!" Morgan
whined. "It's your fault!" Gary complained, and the kept bickering. "At
least we're not like that, are we?" Mimi asked Shawn. "We're perfect." Shawn
answered, and they continued their hula without any arguing. When the song stopped,
the competition ended.
The announcer was ready to announce the results. "And the winning couple
is... Shawn and Mimi!" The girls and Palmon cheered their loudest. "Look,
those dorks won." Morgan groaned. "Oh, rats!" Gary moaned. "You
guys were lucky this time, but we'll win again next year!" they yelled. "We'll
see about that!" Shawn and Mimi said, sarcastically. Soon, Gary and Morgan
walked off.
The girls came running to Shawn and Mimi. "I knew you could do it!" Palmon
exclaimed. "Yay for Mom and Dad!" Momoko cheered. "We're so
happy!" Cherry said. "We love you so much." said Lisa. "Aww,
thanks." said Shawn. "We couldn't have won without your support,
girls." said Mimi as they walked off.
Meanwhile, Arukenimon and LadyDevimon were spying on them and said, "You
guys won't have fun for long..."

Chapter 6: Vacation Crashers
After the hula competition, Shawn and Mimi were tired. And after a few hours
of resting, they were both feeling well.
"Are you guys feeling all right?" Lisa asked. "Yeah, we just needed
some rest." Mimi said. "That's good." Palmon said. "You want
to have more fun?" Cherry asked. "Of course! That's what we came for,
isn't it?" Shawn said. "Let's go!" Momoko said, cheering, and
with that, they were walking to the beach.
But as they were walking, an explosion happened. "What's happening?" Palmon
said. "Mom, Dad, we're scared!" Cherry cried, as she, Momoko, and
Lisa ran to them. As the smoke cleared, LadyDevimon and Arukenimon appeared. "Surprised
to see us?" said LadyDevimon. "Arukenimon and LadyDevimon?!" Mimi
said, shocked. "Y-you're back?!" Shawn said. "Ah, it's so good
to see you again." said Arukenimon. "And we'll ruin your vacation!" they
yelled. "Evil Wing!" said LadyDevimon, unleashing some bats at Shawn
and Mimi. "Spider Thread!" said Arukenimon, releasing thread tying
the girls. "HELP!" they all cried.
"I'll help you!" cried Palmon and evolved into Togemon. "What?!" the
villains said, shocked. "Evil Wing!" said LadyDevimon. "Light
Speed Jabbing!" said Togemon, wiping out the bats, then said, "Now..
Needle Spray!" and unleashed Cherry, Lisa, and Momoko from the web. "Thanks!" they
said. "This can't be!" said LadyDevimon. "We've been defeated!" said
Arukenimon. "This is what you get.. Knockout Fist!" cried Togemon,
and with that, she punched them, sending them flying over the horizon.
"Thank you, Togemon!" said Mimi. "You saved the day." said
Shawn. Togemon changed back to Palmon and said "You're welcome." Lisa,
Cherry, and Momoko ran to Palmon and hugged her, saying "You saved us, thanks!"
"Ready for more fun?" said Palmon. "Yeah!" they all said,
and they set off for the beach.
