Chapter 1: The Return
One fine day, Tai, Sora, and the others were in the living room of Tai's
house, talking. Suddenly, T.K. and Kari came running into the room yelling "They're
back! They're back!" "Who are back?" Tai asked. "Shawn
and Mimi are back from their honeymoon!" Kari said, cheerfully. "We
saw their car pulling up." said T.K. "Yay, they're back!" everyone
cheered. "Let's surprise them." Yolei said, so they all hid.
Suddenly, Shawn and Mimi walked into the house. "Hello? Is anybody home?" they
asked. Then, their friends popped out, shouting, "SURPRISE!!" "Hi
everybody!" said Mimi. "Welcome back!" said Tai. "How was
your honeymoon?" said Sora. "It was great." Shawn said. Mimi held
a camera and said, "We also caught it on tape." "Can we watch
it?" Matt asked. "Of course!" Shawn and Mimi said. "This
is going to be fun, huh?" Kari asked T.K. and he replied "Yes it will." So,
for the rest of the day, the gang watched the honeymoon on video, talked, and
had fun. After that, Shawn and Mimi left to go home.
So, Shawn and Mimi had fun in the first few months of their marriage.
Chapter 2: A Surprise
One day, Mimi was talking to the others and then, the phone rang. Tai answered
and said "Mimi, it's for you". Mimi started taking on the phone saying "Hello,
this is Mimi.", but then, she sounded all surprised, "Huh? What?!
Oh my goodness, I'm so surprised! Thank you so much! Bye!" and was finished.
"What was it?" Sora asked. "That was my doctor calling." said
Mimi. "What did he need to tell you?" Tai said. Then Mimi replied "Everyone...
I'm pregnant." And soon, everyone started cheering. "Mimi, I'm so proud!" Kari
said in joy. "We are very happy for you." T.K. said. "Just wait
until I tell Shawn. I'll tell him when he gets home." Mimi said.
When Shawn got home, Mimi said to him, "Shawn, we need to talk. Alone." "What?
What's wrong?" Shawn said as they walked into their room. "Oh, it's
nothing serious." Mimi said to him. "OK, good. Now what was it you
needed to tell me?" Shawn asked her. "Well, Shawn, the doctor called
me today and he had something to tell me, that I should now tell you.." Mimi
explained. "What?" Shawn asked again. Mimi said to Shawn "Shawn...
I'm having a baby." "You're having a baby?!" Shawn said, surprised. "Yes,
it's true!" Mimi said smiling. "This is great! We're going to be
parents!" Shawn said happily. And so, Shawn and Mimi both kissed and hugged,
happy they were to be expecting parents.
Chapter 3: Telling Others... and another surprise
Afterward, Shawn and Mimi went to tell the others about their big news. Palmon
was very happy. "Mimi, I'm so happy to know that you're going to have
a baby!" Palmon said cheerfully. "It's a wonderful thing." Mimi
replied. "I'm so happy for you!" Gatomon cheered. "We're all
so happy!" the other Digimon said happily. Shawn said, "Thanks, everyone." and
he and Mimi smiled.
A couple of months went by, and Mimi began looking pretty pregnant. "Shawn,
do you mind coming with me for my checkup today?" Mimi asked. "I
don't mind, I'll come." Shawn said. "That's good to know." said
Mimi.
So, Shawn and Mimi went to the doctor's office that afternoon for the checkup. "So,
are things going well so far?" Shawn asked. "Very good." said
the doctor. "Are you sure?" Mimi asked. As the doctor looked at the
papers, she said "Yes. You're not smoking or drinking, you're doing everything
right." "OK, good." said Mimi, calmly. "Now we know the
baby will be healthy." Shawn said, pleased. "Yes, the babies will
be fine." the doctor said. "OK, that's good.." Shawn and Mimi
said as they walked out of the room. Then, about 3 seconds later, they rushed
into the room and said, in a surprised tone, "Did you say BABIES?!"
"Yes," said the doctor, "You two are going to have triplets!" Shawn
and Mimi were very surprised when they heard it.
Chapter 4: Worries
"We're having triplets?!" Mimi said in shock. "I can't believe
it!" Shawn said. "Yes," said the doctor "You will be the
parents of 3 little girls." "3 girls." said Mimi, surprised. "3
girls.." said Shawn in disbelief.
Later that day, Shawn came to a worried Mimi. "Mimi, is there something
wrong?" he asked. "Yes." Mimi replied. "What's bothering
you?" Shawn asked. "I'm worried about the triplets." Mimi said,
a little sad. "How is it bothering you?" Shawn said. "I just
don't think I'll go through with it, I mean it seems like too much to handle." Mimi
told him. "Don't worry, you'll be a great mom. I know how you feel. Well,
a little." Shawn said. "What do you mean?" Mimi asked. "I
feel bad that at the moment, I'll have all girls, but no son." said Shawn. "Oh
don't worry, Shawn. They'll still look up to you. You'll be a great dad." said
Mimi. "OK, I feel better now." said Shawn. "And so do I." said
Mimi,and they both hugged.
Palmon came to them and asked "What are you guys doing?" "We
talked to each other about some problems." Mimi said. "And we feel
better now." Shawn concluded. "That's good." Palmon said, and
came up with them and joined in with their hug.
Chapter 5: Coaching
For a while, Shawn and Mimi did things to prepare for their new triplets. One
of the things they did was childbirth coaching.
So, for a matter of weeks, the two went to a nice place full of other pregnant
women and also made new friends there. "Shawn, I think this is going to
be fun!" Mimi said, cheerfully. "OK, it'll be good." Shawn told
her. Then, a nice looking woman walked into the room. "OK, ladies and
gentlemen, I'm your coach and welcome to our childbirth class." "Ready?" Shawn
asked Mimi. "I'm ready." Mimi replied. "Let's start!" the
coach said, cheerfully. Mimi got her breathing right along with the other women. "Mimi,
you're doing wonderful!" said the coach.
So, throughout their first day, Shawn and Mimi did well. And for their next
sessions, they were doing great. "How does it feel?" said Shawn. "It
feels great!" Mimi said happily. They both knew things would be good.
Chapter 6: Decorating
As the time got closer, Shawn and Mimi had to think of one thing: how to do
the triplets' room.
They had already gotten a room ready, but they didn't know how they were going
to decorate it. "Hmmm... this is kind of tough. How will we do it?" Shawn
asked. "Well, since they're all girls, we can try pink!" Mimi said,
in cheer. "Well.." Shawn said, sounding a little confused. "What's
wrong, you don't like the idea?" Mimi asked. "I think it's great!" Shawn
said, happily. "OK! Now let's get to work." Mimi said.
So, for the next few days, Shawn and Mimi painted the room pink. They even
added flowers, cats, clouds, and other things as a background. Shawn and Mimi
got carpeting, and they got in the furniture. "I think the furniture will
suit the room well." Shawn said. "I think so too." Mimi said.
They had gotten some cutesy looking furniture that went with the room very
well. It took them 3 hours to put in the furniture (they got friends to help
them too). Soon, the room looked all set for the triplets.
Shawn and Mimi were very tired as they looked at the finished room. "Well,
we're all done." said Mimi, smiling. "Mission accomplished." Shawn
said, laughing. Soon, the fell on the couch and fell asleep, while Palmon came
and slept next to them.
Chapter 7: The Baby Shower
Now, Shawn and Mimi had one last big thing to do before their babies arrived:
throw a baby shower.
"Now, when should we have our baby shower?" Mimi asked. "How about
next Saturday?" Shawn asked. "Perfect!" Mimi said. "We'll
make invitations and invite our friends!" Shawn said. "It'll be fun." Mimi
said. "I'll help too!" said Palmon. So, Shawn and Mimi (with Palmon's
help)made invitations and called their friends.
Next Saturday came, and all their friends (and their Digimon) came to the baby
shower. "We're so glad you came!" Mimi said. "We'll have fun!" said
Shawn. They all danced, played games (some were baby-related), and singing
(courtesy of Tai & Sora).
Then, it was time for gifts. Tai & Sora's gift were matching dresses. "They
look so cute!" said Mimi, smiling. "They'll look cute on them Thanks." Shawn
said. "Glad you like them!" said Tai & Sora. From Matt, they
got a CD of soft songs. "These will be nice for them." he said. "Thank
you, Matt." said Mimi. Joe and Izzy got them some little flowers, one
for each child. "These will be sweet." said Izzy. "And your
little ones will be pretty little flowers, too." Joe said laughing. "Thanks." Shawn
said. T.K. and Kari got them little dolls. "We made them ourselves." Kari
said. "Are they O.K.?" T.K. asked. "They're great!" Mimi
said. "We love them." said Shawn. "Glad you like them!" T.K.
and Kari said smiling. For the rest of the party, they all had fun.
After the baby shower, Shawn and Mimi were very tired, and they fell asleep.
Chapter 8: On the Way
A couple of weeks later, Shawn and Mimi were having lunch. "Shawn, would
you like more tea?" Mimi asked. "Sure." said Shawn.
But as Mimi went to get more, she fell, groaning. "Mimi, what's wrong?" Shawn
asked as he rushed to her side. "Shawn, it's time!" Mimi cried. "Time
for what?!" Shawn said, panicking. Mimi yelled "THE BABIES ARE COMING!!" "Oh
my god! I'd better call the hospital!" Shawn shouted. Shawn called the
hospital and rushed to the car, with Tai, Matt, and Sora helping Mimi.
At the hospital, Mimi was put into a wheelchair as Shawn checked in. "Things
are going well." said Tai. "Let's hope they do." Matt said. "Good
luck!" cheered Sora. "Everything's gonna be OK, dear." Shawn
told Mimi. "I'll be OK. Bye." said Mimi, as she was wheeled away
to her hospital room. A while later, as they waited, T.K. & Kari showed
up. "We heard the news." said T.K. "Is Mimi OK?" asked
Kari. "She's OK. I hope." Shawn said, a little worried. "Let's
go see her." said Tai. "Great." Shawn said to them.
They went to the room, where Mimi was very busy with breathing. "Shawn,
you came!" said Mimi. "It's been 2 hours, and I wanted to see if
you were OK." Shawn told her. "I'm doing fine." Mimi said. Then,
she had another contraction. "OK, breathe and push!" the doctor yelled.
Mimi did as they were told. Shawn was very proud for Mimi, but then, as the
first child came out, he fainted, but he was OK.
Chapter 9: Three Little Miracles
A few hours later, Shawn and Mimi were in their hospital room, holding 3 beautiful
baby girls (Shawn held one and Mimi held two). One had brown hair with gray
eyes, one had pink hair with green eyes, and one was blonde with blue eyes.
"Look what we brought into this world, Mimi." Shawn said, looking at
the brown-haired one he held. "Yes. Three lovely baby girls." Mimi
said, smiling as she looked at her two babies. "These three will be loved
very much." said Shawn. "They will." said Mimi.
Then, everyone came into the room. "These babies are so cute!" Kari
said, cheerfully. "They are lovely." T.K. said. "What will you
name them?" Izzy asked. Shawn, looking at the brown-haired daughter said, "I'll
name this one Lisa." "She looks like a Lisa." Matt said, smiling. "I'll
name the pink-haired one Cherry, because she looks like one with her hair." Mimi
said. "That's a good one!" said Joe, laughing. "But what about
the blonde one?" Tai asked. "What will you name her?" Sora asked.
Shawn & Mimi looked at each other and said "Momoko." "Because
she's adorable." said Shawn, and Mimi concluded "Like a peach."
"Those are good names!" said Tai. "They're lovely." said
Sora. "Tai, Sora.." Shawn said to them. "Yes?" they asked. "How
would you two like to be the godparents of our three little ones?" Mimi
asked. "We'd love to!" Tai and Sora said, happily.
Shawn and Mimi looked at their 3 daughters and knew things would be great for
them.
