Across Tokyo Yue watched for any signs of trouble. Still, the night was quiet. Yue watched as a young couple walked in the park. "What is it like to feel love? I guess I could say I loved once. Clow Reed I loved yes but she was a different. My counter part in everyway." Yue thought. He remembered her gentle face, the black hair always pulled back into a braid that was past her knee's. "Now i'm nothing but a lone star. Where are you Star? Why did we have to be seperated." Yue thought. "Yue! Where are you?" a familiar voice called. Yue sighed a deep breath and flew down to his Mistress. "Yue, have you senced a strange power?" Sakura asked. Yue then felt a strange energy. "I just did." Yue answered. "What do you think it is?" Sakura asked. "I don't know." Yue said. Sakura left the park and went home. "I should probley go as well. Julian doesn't need to be out this late." Yue thought. He flew towards Julian's home.

The next morning, Julian woke up. "I don't know why i'm alway's so tired. It's got to stop, especially why school's going on." Julian thought. He got ready for school and got on his bike. He headed for Tori's house.

"Hey Julian you a little late." Tori yelled as he approached. "Sorry, I woke up a few minute's late." Julian answered. Sakura came out ready to go. "Hey Sakura." Julian said. "Hi Julian." Sakura answered blushing a bit. From inside of Julian, Yue watched his Mistress. "She still has effections for Julian but why? He told her that he didn't care for her that way and still she's just the same." Yue thought. His thoughts were suddently inturrupted by a young women walking by. "Hello. My name is Katie. I was wondering if you knew where the High School was?" she said. "Yeah. We're on our way there now. You can walk with us if you want." Tori said. "Oh, thankyou very much. I'm so relieved. I thought I would be late on my first day of school." Katie said. "Oh how rude of me. My name is Tori and this is my friend Julian." Tori said. "Nice to meet you Tori and Julian. And you are?" Katie said turning her attention toward Sakura. "I'm Sakura." Sakura answered. Sakura suddenly got scared. This girl was pretty but her eye's were steel colored and seemed almost empty. Tori followed Sakura's gaze. He was a little freaked out but not much. "We better get going or we're going to be late." Julian said. Sakura nodded her head in approval.

At school, Sakura told Madison, Li, and Melein of the girl. "Wow. She must of really spoked you out." Madison said. "With eyes like that she could spoke anybody." Sakura said. "Sakura's scared of a girl's eyes!" Melein said. "Well they were creepy but other than that she was really pretty. She had long black hair and it was pulled back into a braid. Her hair came down past her knee's!" Sakura said. "Maybe she'll walk home with Tori and Julian again. Then we can all see her." Madison said. "Yeah maybe." Sakura answered. Madison continued talking with all there friends but Sakura had her mind on the girl. "Her eye's seemed so unemotional. Almost as if she had nothing but sadness and loss in her life." Sakura thought.

That afternoon, Sakura seen Julian walking with Katie. "Hey Julian! Where's Tori?" Sakura asked. "He had to go to work." Julian answered. "Hey where's your bike?" Sakura asked. "Oh, guess I forgot it." Julian said. "Oh, i'll get it for you." Katie said. "Don't bother. It'll be okay. No since in walking all the way back to school for a bike." Julian said. "Bot how will you get to school in the morning?" Sakura asked. "I can walk." Julian said. "If your sure." Katie said. "So where do you live anyway's?" Julian asked. "Just around the corner." Katie said. "That's not to far from the school. You could wait as long as you wanted then go." Sakura said. "Yes, I suppose but I prefer to be early that way I can meet people." Katie said. She stopped at a house. "Hey that nice old lady lives here." Julian said. "Yes, I am renting a room from her. She needs someone to take care of her so I told her I would do it if I could rent a room from her and she said yes." Katie said. "What about your parents?" Julian asked. "Oh, they died two years back. Since then I lived with my aunt in Hong Kong but then I decided to get out of her hair and come to Japan." Katie said. "She let you?" Sakura said. "Of course. My aunt is really nice and supports all of my decisions." Katie said. "Well, I better head home. By Katie." Julian said. "By Julian, see you at school tomorrow." Katie said. After Katie went inside, Julian started to walk back to school. "Where you going?" Sakura asked. "To get my bike." Julian said. "Julian, do you like Katie?" Sakura said slyly. "What makes you think that?" Julian asked. "The fact you blush whenever you hear her name and you walked her home which was actually out of your way." Sakura said. "Okay, I guess I like her." Julian said. "How wonderful!" said a voice. Madison walked up. "Hey Madison! What are you doing here?" Sakura said. "Well, I was hoping to see that girl you were talking about but you left early." Madison said. "Sorry about that." Sakura said. "That's okay." Madison said. "We'll i'll see you tonight Sakura. Your brother invited me over for supper." Julian said. "Great! See you there." Sakura said heading home.

Two years later, Julian and Katie are dating and so are Li and Sakura. That night, a strange figure walked into the park. "Star of light leave a message. The angel of space is back." the figure mummbled. A star was etched into the ground and the figure left.

The next morning, Sakura woke up. "Kero? What time is it?" Sakura said. "7:30 but you lucky it's Saturday." Kero said. "Yeah. Better get up, remember we have to meet Madison today." Sakura said. "Yeah, I know." Kero mummbled. Sakura got up and got dressed then headed down stairs. "Hey Tori." Sakura said. "Hey squirt, have you seen the news?" Tori said. "No, what happened?" Sakura said. Sakura watched the screen. "Today at the park, kids stumbled apon a star etched into the cement. No one know's how and the guards say no one was here last night and nothing was heard. If you have any information you are asked to call the police." "Wow, I wonder who did it?" Sakura said. "Yeah." Tori said. "Could it be a new enemy? Why are they here? What if there after the Cards." Sakura said. "Oh, by the way your friend Madison called. She said she won't be able to meet you because she is not feeling well." Tori said. "Poor Madison. I should at least visit her." Sakura said. "Better call Li. Something just don't feel right about this." Sakura thought as she headed back up the stairs to get Kero. "Kero....YUE!" Sakura said as she opened the door. "What are you doing here?" Sakura said. "I'm here because I feel a presence though I can't place who or what it is." Yue said. "Yeah, I guess we are going to check it out tonight. That way we can do a little investigating of our own and without being exposed." Sakura said. Yue nodded his head. "Goodbye Mistress." Yue said as he flew out the window. "Come on Kero. Madison is sick today but we better call Li and why i'm at it maybe Eriol could help." Sakura said. At that time the phone started ringing. "Hello?" Sakura said. "Sakura, it's Eriol. I feel a presence rising and I know who it is." Eriol said. "Oh, really. Who?" Sakura asked. "A guardian." Eriol said. "Another one!" Sakura said. "Yeah and not the most friendly either. This guardian wasn't sealed with the rest because the guardian was not present at my death." Eriol said. "Can you give me anymore information?" Sakura asked. "No. Oh, and don't tell Yue or Kero about this. They don't need to know." Eriol said. "Okay." Sakura said. Sakura hung up the phone. "Who was that?" Kero asked. "It was Eriol he said we could investigate but doughted he would find anything." Sakura lied. "Well it never hurts to look. Are you going to call Li now?" Kero said. "Oh, yeah. I almost forgot." Sakura said. Sakura picked up the phone and dialed Li's number. "Hello?" said Li's voice. "Hello Li." Sakura said. "Oh, hey Sakura. What's up?" Li said. "Not much but tonight we are going to the park to check out that star that appeared suddenly. Can you be there?" Sakura asked. "Yeah. I'll see you tonight." Li answered. "By Li." Sakura said. She hung up the phone. "Okay. Now that, that is settled let's go visit Madison." Sakura said. "Okay." Kero said.

Sakura rang Madison's doorbell. Her mother answered. "Oh, hello Sakura." "Hi, I just came to see Madison since she is sick." Sakura said. "Maybe right now is the best time. She's really sick. The docter think she may have the flu." "Well, it is October and really getting cold." Sakura said. She nodded her head. "Well, could you tell Madison that I hope she get's better soon, for me?" Sakura said. "Yes, i'll do that. Bye Sakura." the mother said as she closed the door. "Well, I guess we're going home." Kero said. "I was thinking of icecream and a little shopping." Sakura said. "Icecream! Oh boy! Let's go!" Kero shouted. Sakura laughed as she headed to town.

That night, Sakura met Li and Yue at the park. "This is it." Sakura said. "I sence a faint trace of magic." Yue said. "Any idea who could have done this?" Li asked. "No, but whoever done it was clever enough to not use a lot of magic." Kero said. Li looked over at Sakura. "What if it was a practicle joke by some kid who has some magic?" Sakura said. "Possible, but I dought it. Why make a star meaning the coming of someone powerful." Yue said. "How powerful?" Sakura asked. "Defently not as powerful as Kerobaros and I but powerful enough." Yue said. Sakura felt a little uneasy. "Do you get the feeling someone is watching us?" Sakura said. Li looked around. "Yeah I do." Li said. They all started to look around. Yue closed his eyes. "Moon of light, piont out the stranger." Yue said. A beem of light came down from the sky and hit the bushed. A girl fell out. "Yue, you weren't suppose to kill her." Kero yelled. Yue rolled his eyes. "She's not dead." Yue said. He walked over to the girl and picked her up. "Oh no! It's Katie!" Sakura said. Yue held her gently. A since of belonging was there. "Should we leave her?" Li asked. "No! We got to get her home. Yue, come with me." Sakura said. Yue nodded his head. "What about us?" Li yelled. "Oh, I guess with nothing here you can go home. You too Kero. I'll be back in a little bit." Sakura said. Yue started to rise into the air. "Fly Card. Grant me your wings! Fly Card!" Sakura yelled. Wings appeared on her back. She flew off with Yue.

They arrived at the place Katie was staying. Sakura looked around to make sure no one was looking. "Lock Card, unlock this door!" Sakura whispered. The door unlocked and Sakura and Yue walked in. "Keep quiet. We don't want to wake the old women." Sakura whispered. Yue didn't do a thing. He walked up the stairs and to a room. He layed Katie on the bed carefully. Sakura noticed how gentle and careful he was being. "What's that about?" Sakura wondered. Yue covered her up and turned to leave. Sakura had a wondering look on her face. "You told me to be careful with her." Yue said as he walked past her. "No, I didn't." Sakura said. Yue just continued walking. They got outside and Sakura locked the door. "Yue tell me. Did you ever love someone?" Sakura asked. Yue stopped and wrapped his wings around him. "Yes." Yue said. "Who?" Sakura asked. "Her name was Star. She's probley dead now." Yue said. "Oh, i'm sorry Yue." Sakura said. "Pardon me Mistress, but I best return." Yue said as he flew away. "Star." Sakura said to herself. Above Katie watched from the window. "Yue, I don't like being zapped. Soon Yue, soon."

Months went by. The star that had shown up in the park now had been repaired. Though, strange things had been happening. The cards seemed rather afraid but happy at the same time. Sakura decided to talk to Yue about it. Sakura ran into the park. Yue was sitting in a tree playing a flute. The most sad yet beautiful music Sakura had ever heard filled the air. Sakura noticed something carved into the tree were Yue was sitting. Sakura approached and read it. Owner of the Clow Cards, beware. The time for the Ultimate Judgement is at hand. So heed this warning and read it well. You may first choose four people to help you fight. I will pick two. The owner of the Void Card and Yue I duth choose. Now pick the other to carefully. Remember power isn't everything. Sakura got a little scared. Yue had stopped playing the flute. "Yue, what is the Ultimate Judgement?" Sakura asked. "I don't know. Clow Reed never spoke about it to me and Kerobaros. Who ever it is knows about us and has watched us. Even worst, they know who I am. A message was at Julian's home. Telling me to come here." Yue said. "Must we do it?" Sakura asked. "Yes." Yue answered. "This person chose two of the four for me. So with you and Li already chose I will use Kero and Eriol if he will help." Sakura said. "And if he don't?" Yue said. "Then I guess we are stuck with Tori." Sakura said. Yue glared. "Isn't there anybody else?" he asked. Sakura laughed. "Nope." she answered. Yue flew down to her. "Hey, Yue. Where did you learn to play a flute. Your really good." Sakura said. "She taught me." Yue said. Sakura bit her lip. "I'm sorry Yue. I know talking about her must be hard." Sakura said. "No, talking about her make's me feel better." Yue said. Sakura smiled a little. "I guess Katie reminds me of her. Maybe Katie is a decendant of hers. I don't know but they could almost pass as twins except Star had a streak of silver in her hair." Yue said. Sakura smile widened. "She sounds beautiful." Sakura said. "She was. Just as beautiful as the night sky, maybe even more." Yue said. "Sakura." a voice whispered. Sakura turned around. Katie was standing there. Her eyes were glowing. Yue put a protective wing around Sakura. "Katie, what's wrong? What wrong with her Yue?" Sakura said. "Somebody is using her to deliver a message." Yue said. "Two moons from now the Ultimate Judgement will comence. Choose the next two fighters well." Katie said. She fell to the ground then stood up. "She's back to normal!" Sakura yelled excitedly. Katie looked at Sakura then up to Yue. "Holy crap! A moon angel!" Katie yelled. Yue eyes stared straight at her. "Sakura, what is that thing. It ain't no angel, it looks to evil. It has no emotion to it what so ever. Get away from it!" Katie yelled. Sakura got mad at the remarks made toward Yue. "He may not look like he has any emotion but he's the most caring person I know, and if you want to talk about no emotion, look at your eyes!" Sakura yelled. Yue looked at Sakura with shock. Katie stood there speechless. "A Cardcaptor. Then he must be Yue." Katie said. Sakura felt so bad. She nodded her head yes. "I just needed to know if it was him because through the generations, we were asked to deliver a message for her." Katie said. "A message from whom?" Yue asked. "Star." Katie said. Yue nodded his head for her to continue. "She say's that she treasures the pendant you gave her though she never got the chance to tell you and that she will love you always." Katie said. Sakura looked up to see Yue's eyes soft. Something fell from his face and onto hers. A tear? Sakura looked up again. Yue was crying. Silent tears ran down his face. Katie walked up. "She also promised that someday, she and you would be together again. She said she would use all her power to make that happen." Katie said. Yet again, another tear fell from Yue's eyes. "I better go now. Sakura if you see Julian before I do, tell him I need to talk to him." Katie said as she turned and ran away. A figure stood in a tree. "Thankyou for your help Illusion Card." it whispered. Sakura turned around. Yue whipped his eyes. "You really loved her, didn't you?" Sakura said. "Yes, i'm sorry I cried Mistress. Never would I think that she could bring me so much joy and sorrow." Yue said. Sakura nodded her head. "Soon Yue. I will have my revenge on you. Thankyou Katie for delivering that message." the figure whisper as it disappeared.

The next day, Julian met Katie at the park. "You wanted to talk to me?" Julian said. "Yeah, Julian....I really love you and don't take this the wrong way but..." Katie trailed off. Her eyes seeped through. "Change." she whispered. Julian changed into Yue. "You again." Yue hissed. "Yes me. I wanted to talk to you. I love Julian very much but I love you more." Katie said. Yue looked rather bored. "I'm flattered but after Star, I promised not to love another." Yue said waving his hand. He changed back into Julian. "You want it that way huh?" Katie said. "What are you talking about Katie?" Julian said. Katie got an evil smile on her face. "Julian, are you aware that will you been blacking out for a while you really have been changing into someone named Yue." Katie said. "Yue?" Julian whispered. "Yes, Yue. He lives inside of you. He looks like this." Katie said as she pulled some pictures out of her pocket. The pictures showed him changing in all. "Oh my." Julian said as he looked at them. "I had to let you know Julian. It hurt me that you were always wondering about what was happening to you why the whole time I knew." Katie said. "Thankyou for telling me. I'm glad your my girlfriend." Julian said. From inside of Julian, Yue watched. "Your a sneaky one. Now Julian knows. Now it's time we merged." Yue said. Julian started to glow. When the light disappeared, he looked more rough. "Your a sneaky one. You actually helped me change to my full form of being in control of Julian." Julian said. "Yue, you share the same body. But not the same mind. Why your talking to me, Julian is listening." Katie said. "True, but now he understands the importance of me and why he is even in this world." Julian said. Katie started to walk away. "Two moons." Katie said. Julian's head shot up, but Katie was already gone.

Julian walked up to Sakura's house. Tori opened the door. "Hey Julian. What are you doing here?" Tori asked. "I need to talk to Sakura." Julian said. "She just went to your house to see you." Tori said. "Thankyou." Julian said as he walked away. "Sakura, why didn't you tell me the truth. I've been having those dreams and you were in them and now that I know they are not dreams it is time I confronted you." Julian thought.

"Kero, where could he be?" Sakura said as she looked through the window. "Who know's? Maybe Yue is doing something." Kero said. "Yue really doesn't like to come out during the day. Beside's he wouldn't do anything without us." Sakura answered. "True." Kero answered. Julian walked up. "Hey Julian." Sakura said. "Sakura, why didn't you tell me about Yue?" Julian asked. "Uhhhh........" Sakura tried to find the words. "Don't worry mistress. Julian and I are one now." Julian said. Sakura sighed. "Don't ever scare me like that again Yue." Sakura said. Julian smiled a small smile.

---Two Moons later-----

Everyone stood at the park. Sakura looked at Li,then Yue, then Kero, then Eriol. Madison had recovered and was there to video tape it. "Everybody ready?" Sakura asked. "I really shouldn't be helping you but I would like to watch more than anything. I won't fight but I will give you pionters. This guardian is skilled and is trained to kill. Don't mess with it." Eriol said. Sakura seen someone approaching. "Katie! What are you doing here?" Sakura asked as Katie walked up. "You all made it....Now face the wrath of the Space Guardian!" Katie yelled. Two silver wings wrapped around Katie. When they opened a woman with long black hair and a silver streak stood there. She wore silver clothing lined with black and her eyes were steel grey. "Your first task is to name her Sakura." Eriol said. Sakura looked over at Yue. He had this look of surprise and happiness on his face. "Star." Sakura said. "True Sakura, Star is her name but that isn't what she went by. Think hard, we can't help you on this." Eriol said. Sakura thought long and hard. She felt the cards speaking to her. Sakura looked the guardian in the eyes. "Lone Star." Sakura said. "At last I am free. The Ultimate Judgement will commence!" Lone Star yelled. "Eriol, what happens if I fail?" Sakura asked. "Then all cards will be released and Yue and Kero will return to the book and your memories erased." Eriol said. "Well, I am not going to let that happen. Woody Card, Trap Lone Star, Woody Card!" Sakura yelled. Nothing happened. "What's going on?" Sakura yelled. "Lone Star can control the cards even if they are guided by your own star." Eriol said. "Well just have to take her mind off of the cards then." Yue said. He rose into the air and readied his bow. Lone Star looked up at him. Yue fired. The arrow turned into a rope and tied Lone Star up. "You did it Yue!" Sakura yelled happily. Lone Star started laughing. The Sword Card appeared and freed Lone Star. "Not fair!" Sakura screamed. "When battling Lone Star nothing is fair." Eriol said. "Isn't there anything you can tell us that well help us beat her?" Sakura said. "Well, her favorite card is Void." Eriol said. "Then I better watch myself." Li said. "Please Eriol. Is there anyway we can beat her?" Sakura said. "Lone Star can only concentrate on one card and one card only. Using more than one at a time will beat her." Eriol said. Lone Star's eyes glowed. The Firey Card appeared before her. "I got it." Sakura yelled. She pulled out two cards. "I call upon Watery and Freeze. Trap Lone Star!" Sakura yelled. Lone Star looked nervous. Watery put out Firey then Freeze froze Lone Star in place. She hit the ground with a thud. "You did it!" Eriol yelled. Lone Star shaked the ice from her wings. "You have beaten me. You passed the Ultimate Judgement." Lone Star said. She bowed before Sakura. Yue took a step foward. "It's good to have you back Lone Star." Yue said. Lone Star turned and faced him. Her steel-grey eyes gazed apon him with love and envy. "I told you I would keep my promise. I returned to you." Lone Star said. Sakura smiled. "They're back together at last. Now Yue can find peace and love within himself." Sakura thought. Yue and Lone Star flew off. "Eriol, how did Lone Star get her name?" Sakura asked. "She really never hardly talked so she went from Star to Lone Star. She was really never meant to be. She was an accident and I couldn't destroy her. She taught Yue to love and to play the flute." Eriol said. "Wow." Sakura said.

The next day, there was no sign of Katie. Julian didn't come to school that day either. Sakura decided to visit Julian. Sakura ran to his house. When she arrived Yue was sitting in the dark. "Yue?" Sakura said. "She's gone." Yue said. "What do you mean?" Sakura said. "She left a note." Yue said as he handed it to her. Dear Yue, i'm sorry that I must leave again. I wish I could stay but I have other things to attend to dealing with the cards. Tell our Mistress goodbye for me. Love always, Lone Star. Sakura looked up at Yue. "What if I never see her again?" Yue said. "Yue there's a nother letter inside. Did you read it?" Sakura said as she opened the envolope. Yue took it. Yue, I added this note seperate for another reason. I get the feeling we will see each other again. A new evil is rising and I feared for our Mistress's safty so I decided to investigate. Look me up if you are ever in Hong Kong. Lone Star. Yue stuck the letter in his jacket. "We'll see her again." Yue said with a smile.
