Chapter 1: The Truth Is Revealed.
Anger… sadness… pain…mistrust… and confusion. These are the emotions that
are flying through the air, and why? Because one boy was mislead onto the path
of evil. A path that cannot be walked out of alone, but who will be able to
walk you out of the path of evil? This is a question that only Riako will be
able to answer. But choosing this path comes with a great consequence. What
is that consequence? Riako will soon learn the answer to that question the hard
way.
In the middle of Japan, a large battle is brewing.
“So, Gallantmon. You’re the mighty Digimon that defeated most of the D-Reaper’s
minions.” Riako chuckled, “All you are, is some fourteen year old boy, and his
retarded Digimon that doesn’t even say your name right half the time.”
“What, why you no good…how dare you insult, Guilmon! Who do you think
you are to talk down to us like that?” Takato yelled angrily.
“If you’re so mad, why don’t you put your anger to use…and come at me
with everything you have! Because I am going to attack first! **Heyahh!** Riako
yelled charging at Gallantmon at full speed.
“I guess the D-Reaper blinded you from the truth so much, that you don’t
even realize that you’re being mislead. Then I have no choice but to force you
to see the light! Prepare yourself…**Hyahh!** Gallantmon yelled also running
at full speed towards his enemy.
They both ran at top speed hoping to outrun one another. But nether of
them backed down. They both were about to ram into each other, finally they
slammed their bodies into each other letting out a large deafening sound.

Inside the Nonaka home, Rika’s mother wonders why she didn’t come home
yet. She sighed, “Oh Rika, you’ve been gone for three hours now, where could
you be for so long? I hope that there wasn’t anything that upset her.” She thought
heavily for fifteen minutes, until she thought, “Wait a second, Rika has been
in her room for a long time before she left. I bet there was something in there
that upset her.” She got up and walked towards Rika’s room. She opened the door
and turned on the light. Looking around, she saw Rika’s dresser, walking towards
it she reached out and opened the first part of the dresser, in it were shirts.
Then the second one, socks. Third one, a lot of Jeans. She held her breath on
the fourth and last dresser, hoping to find something that would help her find
the answer. She opened it, a ton of Digimon Trading Cards.
She sighed sadly knowing that she’ll never find the problem that was aching
her daughter. Then she found something interesting, one of the cards were in
different size. She reached into the draw pulling out the unidentified card,
only to realize that it wasn’t a card, it was a picture. She pulled it out gently.
She couldn’t believe her eyes, it was a picture taken five years ago, of Rika
and a younger boy. She couldn’t recognize his face until one name came to mind,
“Riako.” Her eyes started to become cloudy; she never thought she’d see that
picture again. She thought, “Oh my son. I can’t believe it! I could have
guaranteed that all the pictures of you were thrown out.” She raised the
picture up into the sunlight, so she could get a clear view of it, but right
when she was about to see it, there was an explosion that shook the entire house.
“What was that?” She asked.

A bright light was shining from the two warriors, when they collided into each
other their arms push on one another trying to overcome the other. Riako yelled,
“Why do you insist on helping this girl? She’s the one who is the traitor!”
Gallantmon had enough of Riako, speaking insultingly of Rika. So he had
a shield grow from his left arm, and used it to knock Riako off of him, making
Riako hit the ground. Gallantmon then used his shield to push down on Riako
making him unable to move. “Now…tell me how Rika betrayed you.” Gallantmon said.
