Disclaimer, I Don’t own Digimon blah blah blah, I only write my stories for the entertainment of others. A song called Crawling inspired this story; a group called Linkin Park made it. If you seen Dragon Ball Z music videos, or have one of their singles on CD, you’ll know why I specifically got inspired from that song. Well I hope you enjoy it.

Chapter I, Reunion

“Crystalmon get them!” Riako exclaimed. Then in a blur, Riako’s digimon charged at Guardromon leaving a white streak behind him. Then he yelled, “Crystal Claw!” and a white aura surrounded Crystalmon’s claw. After that, in a terrible, quick, painful way, Crystalmon put his claw through Guardromon’s body, making him yell with pain.

 Guardromon screamed before landing on the ground close to lifeless. “AAHHHHHH.”

      Seeing this Kazu yelled, “Guardromon! Noooo! This can’t be! Guardromon!” Kazu ran to the aid of his fatally wounded digimon yelling in disbelief.

       Seeing his friend’s digimon hurt like that made him lose control of himself. “Ho…how could you do something so terrible? Yo…you killed Guardromon. (Growl!) you’ll pay for this, Terriermon let’s go!” Henry yelled angrily.

      “Got it!” Terriermon agreed also angrily. Henry reached into his cardholder, and pulled out a “Digivolve” card. After that, Henry lifted his D-3. Then yelled, “Digimodify!” Saying that Henry swiped his card through his D-3. After that he yelled, “Digivolution activate!” Doing this, made Terriermon start to digivolve.

      “Terriermon, Digivolve to…Gargomon!” Gargomon said. Then yelled, “Gargo Laser!” Then out of his hands he fired tiny but deadly lasers, rapidly at Crystalmon.  

      They all hit their target, but Crystalmon didn’t even flinch, all he said was, “You will go next.” Before he disappeared into thin air. Then he reappeared right in front of Gargomon, and started to pummel his body.

      “Gargomon!” He yelled. Then he thought to himself, “He can’t take much more of this for long. Then he looked at Guardromon’s body, which was disintegrating.

       Then he thought to himself again, “Sooner or later Crystalmon is going to get bored of beating him like this, and he’s going to skewer him like he did with Guardromon, and Guardromon was a armored digimon, Gargomon is flesh, and if Crystalmon uses the Crystal claw attack on him, it’ll surely split in half before it kills him. What to do, what to do?”

      “I think I should put you out of your misery Gargomon.” Said Crystalmon punching Gargomon in his stomach. Then he jumped back, and then yelled out, “Crystal claw!”

      Then he flew towards Gargomon aiming for his chest, but Gargomon moved to the left. But Crystalmon ran his claw through his shoulder, but it was still a critical hit. Gargomon let out a loud scream that started to get lower and lower until he stopped altogether, he laid lifeless on the ground. “Gargomon no….” Henry said as he felt a part of him also being torn in two, fell on the ground dropping his D-3 on the ground, as it hit the ground hard, almost cracking it.

      Seeing all the disaster happening at once, Kazu realized that he had a card that would help him, and mostly Guardromon. Thinking this, Kazu, quickly reached into his cardholder and pulled out a “System Repair” card. Then he took his D-3 and swiped the card through it, then yelled, “Digimodify! System Repair activate!”

      Thankfully, there was a little piece of Guardromon’s head left from the wreckage. And just as the digital pieces of Guardromon were disappearing, they reappeared and stared to reform Guardromon.

      “Guardromon, Guardromon are you all right? Asked Kazu.

      Dazed, Guardromon answered, “I’ve had better days, but I’m fine.
 
      “I’m gonna call Rika and Takato on the D-3, and tell them that we’ve got trouble.” Kazu exclaimed. “Takato! Takato! Are you there?” Kazu yelled.

      Thankfully Takato answered on the D-3 (or D-3). “Hey Kazu what’s up?”

      “Takato! We have big problems. Some kid came here and started to tear through us, like tissue paper. You and Rika have to get here quickly, we’re in Shinjuku Park.”

      “On our way. We’ll be there in a minute.” Takato said before cutting off the communication.      

      Riako’s expression went blank when he heard that name.

      “Rika?” Riako whispered lowly. Then in a blink of an eye he was next to Kazu grabbing him by his throat and gently lifting him making him feel very uncomfortable.

      Before Riako said anything, Guardromon came up and aimed his two missiles at him. “That’s uncalled for. Guardian Barra…ahhhhhh!” Guardromon attempted to attack Riako, but was easily stopped by Crystalmon.

      “Now before I start to tighten on your throat, tell me what I need to know. Who was that on your D-3?” Riako asked.

      “Huh? Uuaah!” Kazu said being chocked by Riako.

      “Once again I repeat, who…was…that…on…the…D-3!?!” Riako asked a little annoyed at Kazu.

      Kazu yelled out, “Takato!”

      “Then who is this Rika? What does she look like?” Riako asked again.
    
      “She has red hair, …cough… 5‘6, pale skin, purple eyes.” Kazu explained.

      Then Riako dropped Kazu shaken at what he heard.

      Then he thought, “Rika? It can’t be you. It can’t be, it…it can’t be!”
     
      Remembering Henry, Kazu called out to him, “Yo, Henry! Henry?” Noticing that Henry wasn’t answering, Kazu turned around. “Henry! Hey, get up!” Kazu yelled.

      Hearing Kazu, Henry looked up with tears in his eyes.

      “Here catch!” Kazu yelled tossing a system repair card.

      Seeing the card Henry grabbed it and swiped the card through his D-3 yelling, “Digimodify, system repair activate!” Doing the same thing as last time, Gargomon’s body was reconfiguring right before Henry’s eyes. Holding his breath, Henry said lightly “Gargomon?” Hearing his voice Gargomon slowly opened his eyes replying, “Hey, Henry, how ya doing?” Gargomon said lightly.

      Watching Henry in touch with his digimon made Riako sick, “Oh boy, you two make me want to puke!” Crystalmon, finish them off…NOW!!” Commanded Riako.

      Hearing this Crystalmon jumped up towering the four, Gargomon, and Henry, and Guardromon and Kazu.

      “Crystal Destroyer!” Yelled Crystalmon. Then he Nose Dived towards them, then the same white aura that surrounded his claw before, was now surrounding his whole entire body. Right before his attack defeated all four of them, he was blasted with a red sphere, and a number of ice diamonds, which knocked him away from the four, making him slam though a large tree.

      “Crystalmon!” Riako yelled.  Then he turned around, and said, “Who did that?” Said Riako.

      “That is enough your bullying!” Said a female voice.

      “Wait, I know that voice.” Thought Riako.

      “Who are you, and why are you doing this to our friends they never did anything to you, we don’t even know you?” Said a male voice.

      Riako looked up towards the male voice and asked, “Is your name Takato Matsuki?

      “How’d you know?” Takato replied.

      Riako didn’t answer; he just looked where the female voice came from and said, “Then your name must be, Rika?”

      “Yeah, and what is it to you.” Rika said.

      “Well, her attitude is familiar, but it can’t actually be her.” After that he looked up at her face one more time to see if it was really her.” Then suddenly while thinking Riako remembered the picture he kept in his pocket. He pulled it out, and then stared at it, in a few seconds his eyes bulged seeing that picture. Then he looked up at Rika and gasped. Riako’s eyes started to become misty; he was trembling so much he could barely talk. Riako felt his throat tighten, but somehow he found the strength to ask, “Is your…last name…No…N…Nonaka?”

      “Yes.” Was all Rika said.

      When he heard that, he fell to the ground on his knees, barely holding himself up on his arms, he felt numb, so numb he didn’t even feel the tears fall from his eyes. Then with the very last bit of strength and energy from his throat, he got up and asked, “Rika? Do you know who I am?”

      “No…who are you?” Rika answered asking a question herself.

      He could not answer her, but all he could do was put his hand on the hood on his head and pull it down, finally showing his face.

      When Rika saw it she felt like her whole world was cracking. Then in her mind she remembered the picture in her room, then she saw his face and said faintly, “It’s him.”

       Then she started to cry herself. She ran towards him hugging him firmly. After almost five years she finally found her younger brother.



Chapter II, The Sibling Rivalry


 After nearly 5 painful years she found him, Rika felt her emotions going haywire. She felt happy, sad, and confused. She felt like her mind she was going to burst. She felt happy that after a long time she found her lost brother, but she also felt sad because even when she was in the digital world, she couldn’t find him. But mainly she felt confused, why would her brother attack her friends like that.

      In Riako’s mind, he also felt confused. “Is this the person the same one the D-Reaper was telling me about, it can’t be? No, it’s not the same one! I made a mistake.” Riako thought.

      “FOOL! Do you really think I’d make a mistake like that?” Said another one in Riako’s mind. Hearing his voice made Riako shoved Rika away. “No…you can’t make me do it. YOU CAN’T!  Thought Riako against the mysterious female voice.

      “You have to be wrong. This can’t be her, it can’t be.” Pleaded Riako as he fell to the ground on his knees, and his hands also lay on the ground in front of him.

      “You don’t remember do you? Fine, then I’m going to have you make you remember!” The mysterious female voice threatened.

      “NO PLEASE STOP!!!” Riako pleaded.

      Then images from Riako’s past began to flash in his mind, and all of them were bad.

      Then he yelled painfully, trying to enclose the extreme pain of all the bad memories that were coming into his mind out all at once. Then finally the pain and the screaming stopped.

      He stood tautly, he didn’t make a sound, and it was so quiet you could hear a ladybug yawn. At first Rika thought he was comatose. Then, when everyone thought he was down for the count. He instantly opened his eyes, and when he did, everyone around him felt a strange sensation go through them.

      He grinned an evil grin, and slowly walked towards the tamers, mainly staring at Rika. Renamon put her guard up, Guilmon, and Terriermon did the same thing. While everyone was waiting for Riako to do something. Guardromon jumped in front of him and again failing to attack him.

     He lifted up his arms yelling, “Guardian Barrage!” Before the missile-like objects could raise up, Riako snapped his fingers and in an instant Crystalmon came out of what it seems like nowhere and blurred past Guardromon, leaving a number of slash marks on him. Guardromon fell onto the ground dizzy from the force of the attack.

      Then the two digimon that had their guard up before, attacked Crystalmon. The two digimon Terriermon and Guilmon jumped so they could double-attack him first, but Crystalmon was way behind them…literally, he grabbed their tails and threw them into the air, blasting them both with his Crystal Flame attack. Seeing them both being beat so fast, Renamon knew that this fight would not be one of those one-sided fights.

“So, Rika…did you really think I would so easily forget what you did to me…hmm?” Riako said looking evilly at his sister. “I never slept, ever since that day. I will make you pay for every single-thing you’ve done to try and humiliate me.” Riako growled angrily.

      Rika was speechless, how could anyone be this evil, especially her own brother.
Her happiness was quickly turned into sorrow. “Look, I don’t know what you’re talking about. I never did anything to try and humiliate you, ever.” Rika said.

      “Liar! I will make you pay for trying to get rid of me….five years ago!” Riako yelled, running towards Rika at full speed.

     Right when Riako was running to attack Rika, Crystalmon began his attack too. He ran towards Renamon ready to finish her off with one critical blow. Renamon readied herself to guard his attack. Crystalmon used his Crystal claw preparing to have it go right through her, but she countered him, jumping over him kicking him in his head making him slide on the ground. The same with Rika, she didn’t want to hurt her brother, but it was either him or her. Riako raised his hand up meaning to knock her, but she countered it, spinning around, tripping him then hitting him on the back with her elbow, making him slam onto the ground, hard.

      Riako got up staggering from the counter of his attack. “How did you do that? There’s no way you could have dodged that attack perfectly to counter it.” Riako said surprised.

      “You should know that I practice marshal arts. You should also know that I have a black belt too.” Rika said.

      Riako chuckled under his breath, “You should also realize that I have special abilities, unlike you.” Rika raised her eyebrow. Riako continued, “I know how you get your own special abilities, by Bio-merging with your digimon. Well, I got my abilities from Bio-merging with the D-Reaper.”

      Rika gasped, “The D-Reaper! How can it be? The D-Reaper was completely destroyed!”

      Takato said while caring for Guilmon, “Did you hear that Henry?”

      Henry answered caring to Terriermon who was still knocked out, “Yeah. The D-Reaper, it’s mind-boggling.”

      Rika continued, “You must be kidding me.”

      “Obviously I’m not if I can do this!” Riako said. Then in a blink of an eye he disappeared, then Rika felt an excruciating pain go through her stomach.
   
      She yelled in pain as his knee stabbed itself into her stomach. Riako pushed her off of his knee by flipping her onto the ground. Riako laughed with an evil joy, “Did you really think that you would be able to beat me by yourself…hmm?”

      Renamon looked back to see if Rika was all right. When she saw what Riako did to her she ignored her fight with Crystalmon and ran towards them. Crystalmon stopped her by grabbing her foot, “Where do you think your going? There’s no way that you’re going to end this fight that easily. One of us are going to d…iiugghh!” Crystalmon was interrupted when he felt Renamon’s foot smash into his chin, and then continued with a punch going into his gut.

      He buckled; drool flew out of his mouth, as Renamon lifted him up into the air. She jumped up and yelled, “You should never of come here to harm us. Now your fate is sealed, Power Paw!” Yelled Renamon. Then her paws started to glow a light bluish color. Then in a blink of an eye, she ran her fist into the same spot where she punched him before, making him yell with pain. She threw him off her paw, as she watched him fall as he hit the ground making a cloud of dust that went straight up twenty-feet high.

      She looked at Riako, feeling a terrible sensation of mistrust. Although she never met Riako, she felt like her best friend sold her to a place where they keep slaves. How could anyone do that to Rika, especially her brother? Her mind was filled with emotions, so many emotions that her brain couldn’t even catch one. But there was one emotion that she was focusing on…revenge.

      Riako looked at Rika’s unconscious body. He felt a feeling, of evil delight. But yet he also felt a feeling of sadness. “Now…are you satisfied with your revenge, that has been carried out this moment?” The D-Reaper said. Riako didn’t say anything, he didn’t even think anything, he just stared at Rika’s lifeless body. Takato couldn’t believe what he saw, “No way! Rika knocked out with one punch? It’s bizarre. I’ve seen her take kicks from guys bigger then him, how can someone like Riako, beat Rika so easily?”

      Renamon didn’t hear anything that Takato said, she was so focused on Riako that anyone else looked like blurs to Renamon. Riako saw Renamon walking towards him; he stood up and said, “Well, you seem to be angry. But do you think that you’ll be able to best me in combat…hmm?”

      “I’m pretty confident that I do. You will pay for what you did to Rika!” Renamon said angrily.

      “Finally a real challenge. But really…I do want to see the power that you used to beat Crystalmon.” Riako said chuckling under his breath.

      Renamon readied herself yelling, “Then I won’t disappoint you!” She jumped towards Riako punching him in the cheek.

      Then Riako countered flipping himself forward and he threw his fist at Her.                                             Renamon blocked his fist not really ready for Riako. He spun around kicking Renamon in her side making her fall towards the ground. Renamon realized that she didn’t have enough time to think, so she back-flipped twice to see how fast she was going and at the last moment Renamon readied herself so that she landed on her feet.

      Riako chuckled, “Impressive. I can see why Rika chose you as her partner.” He jumped down towards Renamon. “But…your abilities are, how should I say this…highly-dubious compared to mine. Because remember, I have Bio-merged with the D-Reaper, **heh heh heh**. You don’t stand a chance against me and let me show you why!” Riako put his arm up, as he yelled, “Chaos Flare!”

      Soon after he yelled that, a purple flame began to flare up around his hand as he laughed evilly at Renamon, “Now feel the true power of the D-Reaper! Haaa!” Riako fired his blast straight at Renamon. She closed her eyes so that the dazzling purple light wouldn’t blind her. When Renamon did open her eyes, she looked in horror as the gigantic flame moved toward her. Renamon realized that she would not be able to dodge it.

      “It’s over!” Riako yelled watching the flame fly towards its target. Renamon readied herself for the pain that she was going to feel. Then out of nowhere she heard Rika yell, “Renamon! Hold on! Here’s some insurance that you will not lose this fight!” Rika reached into her card holder and swiped it through her D-3 yelling, “Digimodify! Snow Agumon’s ice shield activate!”

      Renamon then threw an ice shield around herself, making it block the attack. Although the shield blocked the attack, it broke instantly into a thousand pieces than melted. The force of the blast pushed Renamon down, knocking her out.

      Takato couldn’t take the violence any longer. He got up and yelled to Guilmon who was fully healed, “Alright this is enough. This maybe be between Riako and Rika, but he already hurt you…so he’s brought me into this fight too!” Takato raised his D-3 and yelled to Guilmon, “Are you ready to Bio-merge, Guilmon?”

      Guilmon answered, “Yeah, let’s do it!”

      Immediately Takato yelled, “Bio-merge activate!” Almost instantly he and Guilmon fused into one creature. Right before they finished a vibrant light started to shine, then Guilmon yelled, “Guilmon bio-merge to…” Then they both yelled in sync… “Gallantmon!”

     Riako was amazed by everything he saw, “Alright! Now we can get down to the real fight.” He looked at Renamon’s body and said, “Personally Renamon was starting to bore me.”

      “Now it doesn’t matter what bores you or not, I’m going to make you pay for your betrayal.” Gallantmon yelled angrily.

      Riako laughed mockingly, “Betrayal! I don’t even know you.” His face straightened and he continued, “The only thing close to betrayal here, is Rika. And after I’m done with you, I’m going to finish what I started.”

      “I see that you won’t listen to reason…than the time for talk is over!” Gallantmon yelled readying himself for battle.

      “Then lets go!” Riako yelled charging at Gallantmon.

      The final fight begins. Gallantmon vs. Riako. Who will win this fight? Will we finally find out the answer to why Riako seeks out revenge on his sister, find out on Digimon: Digital Monsters the love of a brother.
