chapter two
Hercules stared at the girl
in front of him.
"Megara" he breathed softly.
"Yeah, Meg, if you don't mind" Meg said to him. Adonis grabbed her
arm. "Hey! Stop it!" she yelped. Hercules got up.
"Let her go, Adonis" He stated
" Would a hero-in-training really beat up a prince" Adonis said letting
go of Meg ready to fight. Hercules did the same. " I really don't want
to hurt you Adonis." He said
" Oh please! All I have to do is trip you." Adonis challenged. None
of them noticed Meg leaving the lunchroom. She quietly left the school and went
into the woods making sure no one saw her. As soon as she reached the middle
of the woods she stopped and waited. Almost instantly Hades appeared in front
of her. " Are they fighting?" he asked her.
"Yes" she sighed and watched her master's lips curve into a wicked
smile. "Good, I knew you would be perfect for me, which is why I traded
you for that stupid boyfriend of yours" Hades said. A flood of memories
ran through Megara's head as she bit her lip to aviod crying. 'You're a tough
girl' she reminded herself as she folled her master to his lair above Thebes.
" I still don't understand why you sent me to make them fight." said
Meg sitting down. "Didn't you see how weak Jerkules is as soon as he sees
a pretty girl?" Hades questioned her. "Yeah, so?" she said not
wanting to hear the rest.
"So, you work perfectly into the plan to get Hercules into the underworld"
He said as Meg shuddered. She hated going down there every night. The darkness
and the cold surrounded her everytime she went. She always begged for Hades
to give her a home in the mortal world, but he always refused. She was delighted
for a chance of regular schooling until Hades told her it was just part of another
one of his plans. "Now I don't want him getting suspecious, now go back
to that school and look pretty. I'll give you the rest of the plans later."
Hades said throwing black smoke into the air. Megara coughed as she inhaled
the smoke. "Meg? Megara?"
Meg visioned cleared slowly and saw Hercules standing over her. Adonis no where
to be seen. " What?" said Meg.
" You fainted, are you okay?" Hercules asked. 'Really clever Hades'
Meg thought. " Yeah I'm fine. Don't worry yourself about me okay."
Mag said and walked off to her classroom. " You better watched out, Herc"
Cassandra warned.
"Why?" He asked.
" She like a serpant that one is, you better stay clear of her or she'll
bite" Cassandra said. " Oh my little Cassy-Wassy she couldn't bite
very hard." Icarus said. "Your missing the point Icarus" said
Cassandra
" Guys don't worry, what she needs is a hero, at least one in training,
I'm sure she just needs some warming up." Hercules said as the three of
them went into their classrooms.
