Vlad: “Mark my words, Maddy Fenton - nobody says ‘no’ to
Vlad Masters! You will rue the day you spurned my affection, and I WILL NOT
GET A CAT!”
Jack: “When my family’s in danger, the gloves are off!”
Vlad: “Oh
please! Your family is in danger every time you pick up a butter knife.”

Vlad is quite cool as a villain, since despite being a half-ghost, he looks like a vampire. I also like his ruthless, calcluating attitude, which makes his character far more interesting.
