Lady Tremaine is Cinderella's wicked stepmother. She adores her own two foolish daughters and loathes Cinderella for her sweetness, kindness and beauty. She forces Cinderella to become a servant in their household, and when the King throws a royal ball, Lady Tremaine will do anything to keep Cinderella away from the festivities and later even more to keep her stepdaughter from having a chance to try on the famed glass slipper.

Eleanor Audley voiced two of my favorite Disney villains, Maleficent and Lady Tremaine. Maleficent is a magnificent villain, but I defy anyone to find a villain as downright mean as Lady Tremaine. Every time I see the movie, instead of enjoying the villain's scheming, as I usually do, I find myself wanting to beat this woman with a big stick! That's a mark of a good character.
