Tota Matsuda is one of the members of the special investigation team whose mission is to catch the serial killer Kira in Death Note. He's often much more excitable, outspoken and less serious than his teammates, which sometimes annoys them and drives them to scold him. Despite his naive appearance, Matsuda is determined to prove himself useful and ready to lay his life on the line in order to catch Kira.
