Tomite is one of the Genbu Seven in the anime Fushigi Yugi. Despite the fact that the seven warriors of Genbu appeared 200 years before Miaka and the Suzaku Seven, Tomite's loyalty to his own priestess is so fierce that he continues to stand for her even after death. His spirit guards the Genbu Shinzahou, located in a secluded mountain cave, alongside his fellow comrade and warrior, Hikitsu. Tomite also has the power to control ice.
