Sakaki

From Azumanga Daioh, Sakaki is a tall, beautiful young woman with an intimidating presence. Keeping mostly to herself early on in the show, Sakaki is good looking and athletic, but is really shy and tries to live up to what the others expect of her. Her tough exterior hides a soft gooey center though, and Sakaki's greatest love is for animals of all kinds. She adores anything cute or furry and goes out of her way to pet animals, even if it causes her physical pain.
