One of the two main characters of the manga and OVA FAKE, Ryo joins the New York police department and gets Dee Laytner as a partner. Ryo (who gets that name because he's half Japanese) is a sweet, gentle, and softspoken man, and can easily be underestimated, but he has a lot of strength. The only things that seem to fluster him are Dee's determined pursuit of him and, worse, his own reaction to it.
