Ron Stoppable is Kim's best friend in Disney's TV series Kim Possible. At school he's an unpopular goof. At night, he teams with Kim to save the world from the evil Dr. Drakken. Ron also has a pet naked mole-rat named Rufus who tags along on all the duo's adventures.

Trivia:
Ron obtained "Mystical Monkey Powers" as a result of being exposed to ancient magic energy from four jade monkey statues in the first season (which is ironic given his fear of monkeys); these powers would be revisited later and play a big part by the end of the show's run.
He was once given the role of The Fearless Ferret, a TV superhero from the 1960s originally played by local actor Timothy North (a parody of Adam West's 1960s role as Batman).
He once developed an evil alter-ego, based off of a comic book villain called Zorpox the Conqueror, as a result of an incident with a device called the Attitudinator.
It was occasionally hinted during the first three seasons that Kim and Ron would end up being a couple, which eventually happened in the season (originally series) finale, "So the Drama". The directors of the show later stated that this was done to impart the moral, "Give geeks a chance."
In season 4, in addition to being Kim's boyfriend, he became the football team's star running back and got a job at Smarty-Mart. Also, his parents adopted a baby girl from Japan named Hana, who has mystical monkey powers like him.
