Some kind of discovery.

I never knew that in one day
It would all happen so fast.
A new exploit,
A full crew,
On a gigantic submarine!
It just felt like it somehow
Couldn’t be happening.
Never to me,
I’d never dreamt it to.
But we found it.
After all this time,
We had actually entered an ancient city,
That I’d only imagined discovering.
The lost City of Atlantis
Had been found,
Along with a many other things.
The most important thing,
For me anyhow,
Was Kida.
This Atlantean princess,
Lost in a hidden world.
It just sounded so strange,
Along with the feelings I began to get.
I helped her along,
Revealing secrets and solving puzzles,
But the main one I had solved was
That I was in love with her.
It may have been extraordinary
When I first noticed,
But as time grew along,
I realised there was no doubt.
There is nothing more that I want right now,
Than to share my life with her.
I know it’s the thing I want.
