Lydia is quite simply, the reason why Histeria! doesn't go even more over the top than it already does. As the network censor, she battles against such things as curse words in historical quotes, nude statues and paintings, potty humor, though not when Big Fat Baby is involved, and annoying contestants on her game show "What's my Job?" She is often a nuisance, but she is one of the show's funniest supporting characters {heck, she even gave that Vomitorium sketch some positive laughs amidst all the vomit jokes} and satires the often ridiculous profession of censorship quite nicely.
