L

L is the mysterious master detective who begins tracking down the mass murderer known as Kira in Death Note. He has solved dozens of difficult cases, only getting involved in the ones that interest him. Nobody has ever seen his face or heard his real name, not until the Kira case when he establishes a special investigation group in order to catch the killer. L always sits in a hunched position, claiming that if he were to sit any other way his deduction skills would drop by 40%. He also has a sweet tooth and is rarely seen eating anything that doesn't have a lot of sugar in it.
