Ken was once the tyrannous Digimon Emperor. By being infected by the dark spore, he became super intelligent and great at sports. However, this made him selfish, arrogant, and cruel. After changing his ways, he became a normal, average kid. His digimon is Wormmon who digivolves to Stingmon who in turn DNA-digivolves with X-Veemon to become Paildramon and Imperialdramon. His crest is the legendary Crest of Kindness which stood for being generous and friendly to others. It had the power to seal the darkness of his former ship. He is among the most mysterious of the digi-destined.
