From Azumanga Daioh, Kaorin is a class representative with love on her mind. She has a massive crush on the coolest girl in school, Sakaki, and does everything she can to be near her, but is too scared to profess her feelings outright. She's very busy also, and her schedule makes it hard for her to become better friends with the main girls in the show, but nonetheless, Kaorin's antics are one of the main reasons Azumanga Daioh is such a special show. She's like the unfortunate underdog that you can't help but cheer for.
