Jack was originally nothing more than a hired gun, little more than a common thug for various crime lords of Gotham. His life changed for ever the night he decided to break into the Monarch Playing Card company, resulting in getting Batman on his trail. In Jack's desperate attempt to escape the scary vigilante, he fell into a huge vat of chemicals. Batman assumed him deceased and left. But Jack wasn't in fact dead. He emerged from the vat living, but greatly changed in both body and mind. His skin was now chalk white, his hair green, his mouth pulled in a permanent red smile. In his mind Jack had reached the borders of human sanity that lead to insanity and brilliance...

He understands his entire life as a joke. A killing joke. Now he would be the one to laugh at others as he explained the killing joke, life to them. Ambitious, brilliant ,creative, sadistic and humorous, he has since, acting as the Joker, managed to become a terror for Gotham. Either operating alone or as leader of various gangs, he has been behind many crime waves and murdering sprees. Using his knowledge of chemistry he has created a guns which has the effect of killing its victims while leaving a grin in their faces. Jack has developed an obsession for his favorite "playmate", Batman. Jack is skilled when it comes to playing with other people's minds. Up till now his greatest effect on another person's mind has been that on his psychiatrist Harley Quinn/Dr.Harleen Quinzelle who grew obsessively in love with him and turned to his partner in crime and self-proclaimed girlfriend. This obsessed permanent companion may be fun but at times is able to freak out even Jack himself, but that is life for the Clown Prince of Crime.

*looking at Batman/Terry McGinnis* Ah, the new boy! Ears are too long and I miss the cape. But not too shabby. Not too shabby at all.
*Joker is showing Batman a video recording of how he tortured Robin into insanity* I'll begin with how I peeled back the layers of the boy's mind. Oh, he bravely tried to fight it at first. You would've been proud to see him so strong. But all too soon, the shocks and the serums took their toll, and the boy began to share such secrets with me. Secrets that are mine alone to know....Bruce. It's true, Batsy! I know everything. And kinda like the kid who peeks at his Christmas presents, I must admit, it's sadly anti-climactic. Behind all the sturm and batarangs, you're just a little boy in a playsuit, crying for mommy and daddy! It'd be funny if it weren't so pathetic. *pauses for a moment* Oh, what the heck, I'll laugh anyway. HA HA HA HA HA HAA!
The Joker: "You're out of your league, McGinnis. I know every trick the original Batman and Robin knew at their peaks."
Terry McGinnis/Batman: "Maybe, but you don't know a thing about me."
The Joker: "You? What's to know? You're a punk, a rank amateur, a costumed errand boy taking orders from a senile old man. *starts rolling up his sleeves* Still, if it's a whuppin' you're a-wantin'...!"~ JessKat
"Hi-ho, couch potatoes!"
"What?! Compare ME to BATMAN?! I've got more style! More brains! I'm certainly a better dresser!"
"Live from Gotham City! The show that nobody wants to see, but everyone will watch! Yes, it's 'Christmas With The Joker'!"
"Hey folks! Joker here with the Kids' WB! Guide to Villainy. Today's lesson: hand gestures. Here we see the 'Come and get me' finger curl that no superhero can resist."
"Rumor has it, Christmas is a time to share with family. And since I don't have one of my own... I decided to steal one!"
"I'll bet Batman wishes he had a family just like mine. Personally I think relatives are a bore, so Batman can have them if he can find them by midnight!"
"Jumpin' 'uminy Christmas! It's an homage to me! I'm kinda sorry I have to blow it up."
"Look at all the toys! Santa's been good to you, Lex."
"Lucky thing I'm on the team now, for stuff like this. But if I have to wear a flying animal costume, I want to be the squirrel."
"You know, kids, a lot has changed since your old Uncle Joker's been away. New Gotham, new rules... even a new Batman. But now I'm tanned, I'm rested and I'm ready to give this old town a wedgie again!"
