Joat used to be a great swordsman before he lost his arm in a fight. Now he fights with the claw attatched to his hand. Joat is the proper owner of the Wraith, and will do anything to get it back, including chase Ren and Ioz over the twenty seas of Mer in The Pirates of Dark Water.
