Ichigo Kurosaki is the main character of the anime series Bleach. Ichigo is a 15 year old high school student who can see and communicate with ghosts. He always has an angry expression and rarely smiles; even so, he won't think twice about helping someone in trouble, even if he doesn't know them. He cares a lot for his family, especially his two younger sisters Yuzu and Karin. His dad is a doctor and owns the local clinic. Because Ichigo can see ghosts, he can also see "Death Gods," and when he meets a death god named Rukia Kuchiki, she gets hurt in a fight and transfers all her death god powers over to Ichigo. To protect himself and his family, Ichigo is forced to become a "stand-in death god," cleansing evil spirits (Hollows) and sending them to the Soul Society (afterlife, spirit world).
