This kindly toymaker is the father of sweet Olivia Flaversham in Disney's The Great Mouse Detective. He gets kidnapped by Fidget to make a mechanical robot for the evil Professor Ratigan.

1. "You can do what you want with me! I want be a part of this...this EVIL any longer!" (Hiram says this when we first see him making the robot. Look at the way he stands up when he says that to Ratigan. Go, Hiram!)

7. "Yes. Yes, I-I-I'll finish it! Oh, just don't hurt my daughter!" (The way he says that, & the way he crosses his hands over his heart, proves that he's a very good father, who loves his daughter very much, & wants her to be safe.)
8. "This whole thing! I-i-it's monstrous!" (Way to diss a crazy rat with an even crazier plan! You go, Hiram!)
9. "Olivia?" (Hiram says this when Ratigan tells him he's "taking the liberty of having your daughter brought here". The worry in his voice tells us that he loves his daughter very much, & doesn't want her to get hurt.)

Hiram is the coolest Disney dad ever created! He's jolly, happy, kind, sweet, caring, & gentle, plus he's got a nice set of red hair (complete with sideburns). And he gets to make toys for a living! How cool is THAT?!
