In the "Kingdom Hearts" game series, Goofy is the royal captain of the guard at Disney Castle. He, along with Donald, sets out to find the missing king Mickey and meets Sora along the way. Goofy is always the source of optimism among the trio and despite his usual clumsiness and lack of intelligence, he always knows the right thing to say at the right moment. Since Goofy dislikes normal weapons, he attacks and defends with a shield.
