In Discworld: Soul Music, Glod the dwarf forms The Band With Rocks In with two of his new friends, a human and a troll. He primarily plays the saxophone, though according to his own words he can "blow anything". Like all dwarfs he loves gold, but is poor at understanding finances. Glod is always full of wisecracks and sarcastic comebacks.
