Flying John appears in the "Rhapsody in Blue" segment of Disney's Fantasia 2000. He's married to the grumpy Killjoy Margaret and is constantly oppressed by her. He dreams of being able to fly like a bird, thus his name. All he wants to do is enjoy life and have fun, but with Margaret around, it's a matter of pure luck for him to be able to reach his goal.
