Fidget is Ratigan's batty henchman in The Great Mouse Detective, and the best friend any Disney villian can ever hope to have. He is reliable and loyal as he is comical and entertaining. It is believed Fidget, along with Ratigan , is one of the villians that marks Disney's first experiment with CAI ( Computer Animated Imagery ). Talk about a useful henchman!!!

My favorite scenes are when Fidget first grabs Olivia in the toy store and he winds up the toys to sidetrack Basil and Dawson . Work of a Genius .
I also like it when Fidget is fighting with Felicia , and flying Ratigan's airship during the big chase scene .
But then again , a scene with Fidget can't be a bad one . ; )

Fidget was my obsession in the 3rd grade . He was my imaginary friend . I would have pretend adventures with him on the playground each day .
I used to draw pictures of him in class . I even wanted to dress up like Fidget for Halloween one year , but I couldn't find a bat costume .
Since I was 5 , I thought Fidget was the coolest villian's sidekick Disney ever created !!!! ( hugs Fidget )
