Faline first met Bambi in the meadow when they were young fawns. At first Bambi was very shy around her, but soon they became friends. They meet again when they're older, and Faline becomes Bambi's mate. At the end of the movie she has two fawns.

There are two things I really like about this character, which make her stand out just a little from the typical "love interest" for the main hero. One is her insanely silly laughter when she first tries to play with Bambi. That just cracks me up. The other is that, in the second movie, she shows a nice edge of sarcastic wit, especially against Ronno.
