Emiko Niwa

Emiko Niwa is Daisuke's mother in DNAngel. When she was a girl she wished she could turn into Phantom Thief Dark, but as girls in the Niwa family don't carry the Dark gene, the only thing she could do was wish to have a son when she grew up, who would inherit the gene. She gets her wish in Daisuke, whom she encourages to turn into Dark and steal priceless pieces of artwork at nights.
