Dante is one of the main characters of Clerks: The Animated Series. He's a pessimist and an under-achiever. He hates his job but while he sometimes dreams of better things, he consistently fails to try to make any changes in his life. His life is made harder by, among others, the idiot customers who visit the convenience store he works at every day and his fellow clerk, Randal, whose rude behaviour and bad ideas often end up backfiring on Dante.
