Danny is the appealing hero of Cats Don't Dance. He hops a bus to Hollywood, with big dreams about becoming a star, only to be told that animal parts in the movies don't include singing and dancing. Worse, he accidentally makes an enemy of the most powerful star of Mammoth Pictures, Darla Dimple. He never gives up his dream, however, and eventually wins stardom not only for himself, but for all his new friends, too - and he gets the girl.
