In his youth, Cloud Strife sought to become like Sephiroth, and in working under the famous SOLDIER his hometown was destroyed and his memories confused. In the game Final Fantasy VII Cloud had to remember his past in order to save those he loved. Two years later, in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Cloud takes up the sword once more to overcome those memories--as well as the Children of Jenova.
