Lias Bluestone, a troll, forms a band with two other musicians (a human and a dwarf) in Discworld: Soul Music. Little does he suspect that the music they will create after one of his companions obtains a magical guitar will become the most popular on the Disc. After the band becomes famous, he changes his name to Cliff, a name he feels better suited for the "rocky" type of music they play.
