Chip Chipmunk is the brother of Dale and the one who usually took all the decisions for both of them since 1943 when they first appeared. After the forming of the Rescue Rangers, he became the unofficial leader of the team, the one who makes the plans. He is the most serious and logical member of the team. He is also the detective of the group. In his free time he reads detective literature. His main love interest is his team-mate Gadget Hackwrench.
