The "old man" of the group helping Tsukasa in .hack//SIGN, Bear is the character with the most knowledge and wisdom, and the one who takes the most positive action, even if he never quite becomes a leader. He learns a lot about responsibility and himself while trying to unravel Tsukasa's mystery both online and offline.
