Amos Slade of The Fox and the Hound is the mean-spirited hunter of the story and the owner of Chief and Copper. Unlike most of Disney's villains, however, he doesn't come across as being evil. Instead, he hunts for a living and is very professional at it, and is motivated by revenge, rather than a "just because" brand of evil.
