I’m not really certain
About what’s happened.
To me, to her,
To both of us.
It just seems unreal,
Like some sort of dream.
I never imagined it
To happen.
At least to me.
I know what it is
That I feel when she’s there,
Or when she’s not.
I know it’s the real thing.
I just keep thinking about her soft, brown eyes,
Her flowing black hair,
And her dazzling smile.
I couldn’t look away from her,
As soon as she caught my stare.
But now the question
Is something different.
Now that I understand
Who she really was,
It all just seems
Like a dream again.
What I keep thinking now is
Will I ever have a chance with her?
With a princess?
With Jasmine?
It just feels so imaginary,
But yet so real.
Maybe all of my fantasies
Are waiting with her.
I just have to find some way,
For her to notice me.
