This cheerful twelve year old is the titular hero of Avatar: the Last Airbender. Raised by Airbender monks in a temple hidden in the mountains, then frozen in ice for 100 years, Aang is the only known survivor of the Air Nomads. It is Aang's destiny as the Avatar to master all four elements and save the world from the hostile Fire Nation. Aang has reluctantly accepted this and his spirituality, but that doesn't stop him from being a normal boy and having fun as often as possible!
