Disregard the strange biology, and you'll find a funny, well animated, and inventive Disney movie. It has a wonderful, appropriately voiced cast of characters, and Prince John is one of the funnier Disney villains. While being the weakest of the 70s movies, there used to a time when I was in love with this movie. And who wouldn't like it? Despite the fact that Maid Marian is one of the more uninteresting heroines, there is a certain darkness and timeless truth hiding behind fun lightheartedness. Often underrated, Robin Hood is more than it seems.
