Reviews for Little Nemo, Adventures in Slumberland

By Mainecoon Spoilers

This movie posesses the one quality that truely seperates good movies from bad ones: It's entertaining. The characters are literally quite colorful, the plot is interesting (though a little quick near the end), and the movie is extremely well-animated.

Nemo is a little boy living in what appears to be a suburb of New York City. The movie focuses on his adventures in Slumberland. There he becomes prince and the princess's royal playmate. He then must rescue King Morpheus, who has been kidnapped by the Nightmare King.

The secondary characters are the ones who really steal the show, as usual. Flip the troublemaker, Professor Genius, and the five Goblin Oomps give an amusing performance as they help Nemo get through Slumberland and rescue the King.

The actual rescue is somewhat rushed, and almost anticlimatic because of that. However, it does little to dull the excitement of the characters' return to Slumberland.

Summary: "Little Nemo" has a few bad points, but is worth watching anyway, even if only to see Flip! ;-)
